Has anybody added hot melt through the small port to get the head-weight up?
Just dropped mine off at continental golf today to get some hot melt put in, more so to dampen the sound a little bit. They measured it for me and it's already at D4, but it just doesn't feel hat heavy to me. So I don't think a few grams is gonna hurt. Btw I've got a AD-MT 6X in it, so not stock

Thanks for all the input guys! I Put 6 grams of lead tape in the vertical track and 4 grams in the front track (2 grams on each side). Hopefully I can make it to the range tomorrow!

Yes just got mine back today from peoplesclubs haven't got 4 grams put in enough to dampen the sound.
Do you mean it only held 4 grams or 4 grams was all it took to dampen the sound? Thanks in advance

The answer to better golf is work your butt off and learn how to hit it better, farther, and make more putts.

A head can hold way more than 4g, so I think it's the second choice while making the driver still playable.

Are you still supposed to "Loft Up" or are these pretty standard?
Wondering the same thing. Anyone? Also, any difference on lofting up, down or staying the same from 460 to 430cc?
Thanks,

Played a 10.5 in my previous driver (Srixon 545) and playing 10.5 in the M1 with Fuji pro - my launch angle has gone up while spin has gone down.

TM has stated that the 460 and 430 heads have the same launch and spin profiles - the only difference is the size. Does that mean one person won't see any difference between the two heads? Absolutely not, but it will be due to their individual swing with the different heads and not because of a different design within the heads.

Convinced on my proper loft after a few range sessions.....past TMAG drivers were all 8.5.....played both 8 and 9 in the R11, played 9 in the R11s, and currently play a Tour Silver SLDR in 10.5.

The only loft that I have tried in the M1 is a 9.5, but my eye is telling me no need for 10.5 unless it was cranked way open and doubtful the 8.5 could out perform the 9.5 unless it was the middle of the summer on firm ground.

My SS is down since I played 8.5 heads, so 9.5 slightly is the perfect ticket. Now when my 460 head comes in, I will need to switch to the 430 head. The 460 head just is to big looking for me and I bet I am a mph slower with club speed with it.

Looking at the 430 head compared to my SQ, R11s, ST, and my gamer Silver Tour SLDR. The SQ is slightly smaller looking, the R11s is slightly larger looking (bigger looking face at address mainly) the ST is slightly longer and the SLDR is slightly larger.

If I still had a R580XD Tour head, I bet the M1 would be very close to it size wise plus some other features like that flatter sole.

M1 with AD MJ 6 really feel good....it almost gives it a feeling that the ball is really compressing on the face.

For me my TM drivers have been

R1 v2 10 (9.5)
Sldr 460 10.5 (10)
Sldr 430 12 (11.5)
R15 460 9.5 (9)
R15 430 10.5 (10)

M1 430 9.5 (9.0).

Your mileage may vary but for both 460 and 430 heads starting from sldr ive kept coming down a degree.

I'm sure it could hold 100 grams if you wanted it to. But 4 was my preference. I think i had 6 in my SLDR but the M1 is much more quiet off the rack, but still too loud for me once you get use to hitting hotmelted drivers you need ear plugs to hit any that aren't. IMO its much better to hear that nice little thwack vs hitting a gong on each drive.

I know some were probably not 1.5 as the numbers gurus will chime in as "scientifically impossible," but I definitely only hit 2 above the equator and 1 toward the toe. Heading to Nevada this weekend to try it on course for the first time.

With a slightly closed face to path you can get readings of 1.5 or even higher. Most recently I saw 1.52 with the driver and multple 1.5 with 915 fairway and hyrbid which I'd never seen before.

Back to the thread, witnessed the longest drive on 1 in the two years I've been at my club, par 5 and we measured 362 downwind, 142 left to pin. He was hitting 9.5 M1 rogue 95 black 70x. Is that a no upcharge shaft option?

Brother has played 8.5 or 9.5 in TM in the past and is playing 9.5 with no issues. Get fitted but I don't think its a loft up or down clubhead honestly.

Yes its a no upcharge shaft. I got the Black 60x with my custom order and its a bomber! I'm also trying out a 70s at a shorter overall length to dial it in.

Looked to order the M1 but the Speeder 757 Evo TS shaft is delayed until 12-9. Looks like I'll have to wait until mid 2016 when I travel to the states again.

Bummer that is exactly what I ordered. I ordered mine on October 25 and it came in on November 18.

Does loft matter if you are trying to get the ball to a specific launch and spin?

I really doubt he did, he would have mentioned it lol. I've missed my fair share of highlight reel conversions too :(
