You May Be a WRX'er IF....

...you assume that every Mitsubishi shaft in a PGA player's bag is a "1 of 1" proto painted to look like a shaft available to the masses at retail.

1.) You have friends on here that you message and email more often than certain family members.

2.) You tell your family you were talking to a friend or buddy and were referring to another WRXer who you've never met in person

3.) You go to your local golf show and look for the guys walking around who are staring a bit too long at clubs and think "I bet that's ______ from WRX"

4.) You roll up to every thrift store in a 10 mile radius at least once a week and scour the golf clubs area like you're looking for buried treasure.

5.) You have a frighteningly large selection of golf clubs and someone challenges you and says "you don't even know half of

what you have" and then you rattle off the names of all your sets of irons, wedges, and putters.

6.) You fantasize about being like the guys on American Pickers but only buying golf equipment.

Hey man do you know me? sure seems like you do :taunt:

You are definitely a WRXer if you know who JonesScott and Pepperturbo are, and dream about the day that they come together in competition.

Darn right I want to ride around on the cart and watch that in person

You've made three holes in one in your life, with a Wilson Ultra, a Precept Lady and Taylormade Burner LDP, yet insist that only premium balls will yield low scores.

You go on a putter craze, buy all 4 Scotty Mil-Spec lengths and weights, Scotty Tei3, Scotty PP NP2, Taylormade Itsy Bitsy, Odyssey 2-ball, Rife Vault 1, and then find a C.L.N. for an amazing price. Proceed to putt lights out with a long neck and now need to find more long necks at good prices so you don't go broke, but will not let go of any of the other Scottys because they are collectables.

Crap, forgot about the Scotty Kombi...

You might be a WRX'er is you've cut down a x-stiff shaft to use with your grilling spatula...and then soft stepped it.

It would have to be a steel S-400 or X-100 though. But then again if you used graphite it would really get soft after a few flips of the burgers

If your clubs cost more than your car, you're probably a WRXer.

Does one club count if it cost more than your car? ..............BAZINGA!

Of course, this is WRX. All clubs are treated equally.

Unless they're GI clubs or anything non-blades.

Blades are the path to the dark side. Tread carefully!

LOL I just happen to like the dark side-- just saying

You make the jump to the hybrid to replace your 3 iron (816 H2 in my case) and replace it with a utility iron (Z U45) before you even take it to the course. Definitely the result of GolfWrx disease.

Hah, Ha. I certainly don't fit the template for a Golfwrx'er. I have 14 clubs. If I break or lose one, I replace it. Golf is my passion but, I can think of far better ways to invest my money.

You actually believe that you should play Muira baby blades with your 15 handicap game, and instead of going for a professional fitting or lessons, you spend $10,000 a year on clubs and shafts that are outside your ability level. And you actually believe one of these is going to magically transform your game.

Kind of sounds like Bob Parsons. Under your line of thinking he would be the ultimate WRX'er by spending $200K in search of the perfect club vs fixing his swing and they just saying F it, I'll get a couple of engineers to make the perfect club.

You, sir, are no WRXer! (Me neither, I haven't bought new irons in 5 yrs, and I got a back up set which will carry me through the next 5 yrs)

 Indeed it is much like the Parsons thinking. However I'm not sure there is a set of clubs not forged by aliens from outer space than can get that guy close to par.
