Does QE have a distance when it works differently or not at all? The rules change in other things, e.g., General vs Special Relativity and QM.

 

People might be further along if so much time and energy hadn’t been wasted on string theory, IMO. I remain hopeful we’ll learn more while I’m around to appreciate it…

Something that has crossed my mind on occasion during a solo round.  What does one do if by chance a HIO occurs?  Is there a verification protocol?  A picture is unsubstantiated evidence.  Can't just tell the golf buds, "Oh by the way, had a HIO yesterday".  Yeah, right.  A dilemma.

I was thinking the same thing as I was walking up to the green before I spotted my ball. I’m pretty sure at least one in the foursome in front of me saw my shot from the next box, but I don’t know that they would have vouched for me. I think they thought I intentionally hit into them when I actually just hit a little longer than expected. They were never in danger, as they were much bigger hitters than me, but my ball rolled up within 20 yards or so a couple of times.

I was playing with a bud several years ago and a single came up behind us. We invited him to

join up with us. He said he would except he was in a hurry because he had to be somewhere

at a certain time.

 

We wished him a good round, etc. and bid him farewell as he played through. The next hole

was a par 3. As we were putting out he comes flying back in his cart yelling "I made a hole

in one!" LOL, he had to tell somebody. We felt bad that he had it all alone; especially just a  

few minutes after playing through us.

I had the fitting yesterday and it was productive, but I have a decision to make.  My current driver is pretty good but slightly unforgiving.  My takeaway from address is much better than before, but my clubhead is too open, elbow is too far behind, and I'm still dropping the club down too steep onto the ball.  The ball landing angle is okay but not optimal.  Swing speed dropped to about 97mph, but he's certain if I work on technique and sequencing I can reach 105mph.  So decision time, do I upgrade now or wait till I fix that?  He also said my irons don't fit me well, but changing that will be costly also.

 

I'm thinking of just working on transition technique for a month, then just come back and let the chips fall where they may and rework the bag a little.  Felt like the Ping G430 Max was pretty forgiving, but I'll rehit a few things and make sure.

Tot agree. For a lot In-N-Out is “it”. Like you said, always a line. I’m amazed (not really) how long ppl will sit and wait in a running car for it. If I do go, I park the car and actually go in! Crazy I know. I’ll be out the door with my burger and fries and the line has barely moved.

I think The Habit is superior as well. Heck, I think 5 Guys is superior to In-N-Out. Thankfully our two Habits have survived being quite close to two In-In-Outs.

Was literally telling someone a couple days ago that I don’t get the hype/love for Chick-fil-A. Is it decent, sure. Is it like OMG that’s amazing I’m gonna go wait in line to get it, no way. I’d take the chicken sandwich from Popeyes over it 🤷🏼‍♂️

I eat a lot of pork/pigs 🐷 The smarter the better.

Dorado....🙂 mighty good eats, and you definitely can't accuse them of intelligence.  Catch one, others tend to gather and you'll catch several.  That ^^^^ one is a big fish!

 

On waiting in a long line for fast food, NO!!  I do like a Chick Fil A, but if the drive thru line is off the chain wrapped around the building, I'm going inside or I'm not going.  It is dang sure not this super amazing thing worth waiting 20 minutes in my truck for....I hear that a lot too and don't get it at all.

Yep, that PING driver is forgiving and a good stick. I’d say learn to shallow and hit it. A different driver isn’t going to stop you coming over the top. 🙂

My buddy in the Keys sent me a care package of 15 lbs of tails and 20 lbs of snapper and dolphin. 

Now that the stomach is back to normal we will be grilling some of both. We do like to steam some of the tails and make a cold lobster salad with some celery and mayo.

Pretty much!  Lionfish are devastating, awful fish to have in the Caribbean ecosystem, but they are incredibly tasty.

Can't help it, being 6'6" makes you try to lumberjack the ball from elevation!  I'll work on it though.
