Sole looks like Lunar Control Vapor. But no toe swoosh.

I like the pant look, but looks horrendous without pants.

 

They are definitely more function over style, just like they were with the Bandons. You wear them in cold/wet conditions when you'd be wearing rainwear/pants anyway.

I have the Bandon 2s. Definitely an ugly boot. But when it's dumping rain I prefer function over style. As someone else mentioned, you would probably be wearing rain pants with these anyway.

The Bandon 3 just looks like a LC3 with a higher ankle zip up covering it. Really nice looking and great for cold/wet weather. I love mine and hope I never have any zipper issues.

So a perfect shoe for the weather today but overall don't see having a need...don't live in said region..or UK..and take rainy days off from golf. I won't even entertain comment on the white hoop shoe...gheesh.

I LOVE golfing on rainy days. Wide open course, I can walk 18 in under 3 hours lol.

Since this thread is huge, and I can't search it.

 

What are your guys opinions on the Lunar Command 2?

 

I've managed to pick them up for £70 here, which his cheap for new shoes, £50 cheaper than the Adidas boost and FootJoy shoes.

 

The main problem I have with shoes is that they are too firm under foot, causing the bottom of my feet to start hurting. The foam in these was really soft. I also didn't want a spikeless shoe, as I play a lot of hilly courses that get wet (I'm in the UK).

I absolutely love them...haven't had any issues them at all. I have a few pairs of them....

Each to their own and I'm an ex basketballer so I'm pretty open minded with golf shoes but some of these Nike designers need to stop microdosing the acid before work.

Those J's are bloody ugly as well. With that concrete TW sole attached to them.

 

High-tops in golf, lows in Basketball, perfect sense.

Those J's are bloody ugly as well. With that concrete TW sole attached to them.

 

High-tops in golf, lows in Basketball, perfect sense.

 

Yeah...they are all weather shoes...why wouldn't you want as much waterproof protection as possible if you're like me and play when it rains and well into the cold weather?

Yeah, I DM'd Nike about it on Twitter. Got a response that it's definitely not normal and they want to assist in replacing. Fortunately, I purchased through my Nike+ account so the exchange process should be pretty hassle free.

 

What's funny is I've hand washed them with a brush and soap/water numerous times and they still look discolored. It's the red clay down here. Stains everything.

 

UPDATE: I've contacted Nike and initiated a return. Appears everyone at Nike who's seen the photo agrees they're defective. Hopefully the examiners agree. On the plus side, the girl gave me a 15% off code to use in case I want to reorder a pair, which I probably will. I really liked them.

I'd contact Nike. I went thru both Twitter DM and the Live Chat. Got a return label today and am sending them in for a product inspection. The lady on the Live Chat was awesome and even gave me a 15% off code that works for anything, so when I reorder the shoes after I get my refund they'll be cheaper than the first time I bought them.
