I am a GolfWRX advocate because it is a meeting place for those who love the game, built by those who love the game.

 

Yes, there will always be a "blades vs GI irons" thread, that SheriffBoothe will shut down (with something witty to say), and another thread regarding the benefits of forged over cast irons.... But the truth is, I haven't read much material on this site that did not have some sort of value.

 

I gain value as a mid-handicap player (who is trying to regain old form) by hearing other players' successes and lessons. I can speak with every golfer on my practice range, and it would not come close to the amount of useful and community related information that I find here.

 

My favorite part of the site is hearing established members, we all know who they are, answering the questions of newer members (in most cases these are new members to the game) because they faced similar questions at some time or another.

 

It's a great community to be part of.

I love this site because I've found out there are a butt-load of others like myself who hit their PW 190 yards and only play X stiff shafts on every club including my putter.
