30 yards shorter?? Looks like he needs a bit more spin then. Ball seems to be dropping out of the air a little quick. 339 total distance last year with M1. Can't even break 300 yards now. Be interesting to see if Epic passes TM this year.

I am sure he will come out with an updated head to head '16 M1 vs. '17 M1 - This would be a much better indicator of the improvements if any at all.

He hit it shorter because he has a much more controlled swing now, compared to his long snap hooks in the past. What is not good is his low launch angle combined with that extremely low spin. I hope the new M1 is better than the SLDR if TM is going for super low spin again. WRX is sure to love it, but most players (average golfer who hits it 240) does not need a 1500 spin driver.

I believe this years M2 will have a super duper deep faced model. It may be right up your alley my man.

 

The D tech is just a draw biased M2. It's on their site

All that will matter is how it plays, but it looks like it will visually inspire a lot less confidence. The white has a lot more angle to it which seem like it will play tricks on people, and the bottom is just flat out ugly.

M1 as forgiving as this year's m2? I want the 440. Not a huge fan of them making the footprints bigger because I thought this years looked pretty big but we'll see how it looks in person

I'm interested to see the 440cc head. Being a whopping 5'4", huge club heads are just super intimidating to look at, standing that much closer to them.

 

I had an R7 for the longest time, and JUST switched the a 430cc SLDR.

Also, any idea if they are switching up the tip adapters for these new heads? Or do you think they'll be able to use the same shafts as the current M1/M2/SDLRs?
