First epic fail I've seen with the releases when it comes to connectivity...feel lucky to have got what I wanted.

 

It's happened at least one other times. The 2013 US Open release I believe.

Is Scotty not allowed to use "Masters" on anything? Find it a little odd that the stitching reads "2017 MAJOR". Haven't past Masters releases said "Masters"? I saw this year's limited edition putter that clearly has all the branding..

I added the putter cover and divot tool to cart checked out with little spinning time. Tried to buy visors literally 10 seconds later and spin city server.

Sometimes What the Pros Play receives a small allotment of the newly released covers and they sell them for a very small markup. Check their website later today or tomorrow, who knows they may have some available. I think they also have an eBay store where they sell some of the new release items.

At this time Scotty does not have the Name Rights to any of the 4 Majors. I don't believe he ever has, but I could be wrong.

That makes sense. Was looking back through the archives and there were a number of "Augusta, GA" references but never the actual event.

Had the same issues as everyone else today and just as I was about to give up while driving to a meeting for work, the site popped up for me. Was able to snag a headcover. Would have liked the tool and towel too, but just happy to get anything since this was my first release. Hopefully they don't all go like this.

Think it's hard getting a headcover release? Try getting a gallery putter release! Demand is more and more and don't see it changing anytime soon.

I was hitting f5 for 35 mins, saw it pop, then white screen of death. 42 mins later, was able to check out! snagged headcover, both visors, pivot tool and towel. Let me know if anyone is looking for anything, deff keeping the headcover and maybe one of the visors, will help out another wrx for just a few bucks over retail.

Feeling lucky --- after battling the usual SC fiasco release, I managed to score the putter cover and the pivot tool.

I picked up the fairway cover because it was there and I'm never fast enough for those things so I felt obligated to buy it and thought there was a chance id use it but probably not. I'll likely be selling it for a profit when it arrives to help offset the cost of the other items I got.

Man I was pissed yesterday, like most of yall. Was ready at 10:30 for the release (central time) and it didnt happen until almost 11. Had been online and hitting refresh. When the release happened I saw the tweet and then my screen just wouldn't load. Eventually, it somewhat loaded and clicked add to cart on putter headcover, but then it quit working again. A while later it loaded and the putter headcover was in my cart, but was already sold out.

 

Pissed me off, really wanted the headcover and towel.

 

I am a new club member, and at this rate, I will not be doing it again next year. I dont know if its bots or what, but it is surely frustrating.

FWIW they offered an apology (see their comment below). at least they know there's a problem - unfortunately too little too late now. i too was shut out. been a member for a few years and remember this has happened before (not to this degree) but the site has been plenty slow on previous releases as the most recent bag release where a lot experienced the lag. for the website to be slow on previous releases and them really pushing out club cameron to attract more members, they should have accommodated for more traffic. They had issues when they first rolled out the new website design (didn't change much other than the front pages and some others) and it still wasn't fixed. hopefully this is the time they will fix it.

 

I was shut out and i'm pretty quick with checking out but after an hour and basically all was sold out, i gave up and shared frustration along with the majority.

There's a stark contrast between how frustration has been allowed in this thread versus the Adidas Pimento thread. Lots of .02 cents from people there who don't get the frustration of missing out on something, we are all well aware quantities are limited but we should all have a fair shot at the race outside of delays and technical issues.

I think most of the frustrations lie in the operation of the website. For me personally, I can deal with the fact that there are limited quantities and sometimes you're not quick enough but when the site bogs down or is non operational it becomes extremely frustrating.

I experienced delays on that website when I ordered 1 black putter grip last year. I can only imagine what was felt on this release. Though, I can read a few posts and get an understanding.

Anybody get a shipment notice yet? For my previous orders, I got an email with shipping confirmation shortly after midnight each time. So far, nothing. At least my order shows up in my account. I wonder if their server issues has caused any oversold situations.

That was the message that the remaining items are now available to the general public. I did hear that some of the FWs and towels were available sometime yesterday, possibly cancelled orders that were quickly snatched up.

they always tweet when the release goes to the public after 48hrs. they're not talking about the stuff sold out, it's about the stuff that's still available from the release.
