Incredible Pro Am Opportunity of a Lifetime!!!!

Agatha initially told me about this and because Matthew will be teaming with Messtoph and I thought that it would be a great time for both as both are as good as it gets and It would make for some great fun and better memories. Aggs forwarded me the site and upon further review, this is a friggin incredible event on two different fronts!!

 

I even called out and spoke to an Assst. to verify all this stuff because it seemed too good to be true and I believe in that old adage regarding that, lol

 

Well, it's legit, just as printed on the site and the real deal-

 

As one who has Played in close to 20 Pro-Ams over the decades, this is a Golfer's dream from a playing standpoint. Though I usually went in under some corporate sponsorship to Play, I got one round and the fee was anywhere from $4500 to $7500 and it was for one day, one round and I was fortunate in that I either knew my Pro or got a good draw due to my affiliation/relationship with the corporation who sponsored me. Most will get the luck of the draw and the Big Doggies ain't in the draw, lol.

 

In this event, like Matthew and Messtoph did, you can either sign up together(the Pro obviously is Playing for free) or you register and they will assign you a Pro though you can request one of the Pros on the site and if they're not taken, you got your Partner!

 

$3500 for one round is a great value however $3500 for what you get here is just sick, and anyone who's Played in a Pro-Am can verify this-

 

For the Am....

 

- 3 Pro-Am rounds at Talking Sticks Resort, Scottsdale, AZ

- 1 Practice round

- 4 nights at the Talking Sticks Resort & Casino

- 2 Pro-Am Parties

- Initial Goody Bag in room upon arrival(this'll be all over your bed, lol. It's pretty cool)

- Daily gifts and prizes

- Skins, Gross & Net Pools and money and prizes

 

This is the most incredible value that I have ever seen for such an event and the kicker is that even if you don't know your Pro, and don't give the fact that they're not Tour Boi or Gal give ya a second's thought cuz trust me, these gals and guys will hit the ball better than anyone 98%+ of ya have ever Played with in your life, lol. You will walk away greatly impressed, trust me on this.

 

Ok, to the second great thing about this event-

 

Aside from satiating your lust for a Pro-Am experience for a life time, this will help these young Pros and may give that one Pro the break of a lifetime!!

 

You may be asking "ok ****head, how so?!?!?"

 

Here's the deal...

 

Aside from the $10,000 first prize money for Low Pro, that Pro will have their Q-School registration fee paid by the Tourney, for as far as they go!!

 

One of a young Pro's greatest concern is money and raising it to pursue their dream-

 

You can assist them in making that dream come true!!

 

So, if you can swing the time off and the $3500, step up to the Plate and actually DO something to help a young Pro realize their dream(you know, versus dropping into their threads when they happen to post on the board and chirping "good luck, I'm behind you, bla bla bla ;) ), most likely make a friend for life if you're not a chucklehead and make memories for a life time!!

in my experience in net better balls and scrambles, pro's would want 6-12 cappers, or an erratic 16-18 that makes 9 pars (those guys are deadly - we have a few at our club)

 

Two low guys don't do as well and event the USGA recognizes this and suggest 2 man teams w caps with a spread greater than X, face a downward adjustment (too lazy to look it up)

That is one thing we looked into because as Matthew said if pros are playing for 10K and free q school the last 2 rounds it doesn't make sense to do a team format. So they pros are actually keeping their own score and putting out. I think format is similar to pebble. Messtoph is an 11-13 so they are in good shape for team play.
