Mizuno MP-18 SC

Anyone have a list of Mizuno shaft upgrades? I only can find the stock no charge upgrade shafts on the Mizuno USA site.

I'm almost certain that list you saw was it for upgrades. They don't offer many choices but what they do offer are some solid choices for no upcharge.

But there certainly must be a list of of the custom shafts that they charge for. I want to know if they have Tour V's or $ tapers available. Surely they can get any KBS product.

Someone said DG 120's might be available no upcharge too.

I don't believe so. I called mizuno and the only new shaft option will be a modus 120. What you see is what you can get. Unless you have access to the tour van.

-Taylormade BRNR 11.5* set at 9.5* Ventus Red TR 7X playing 44.25”
-Mizuno STz 230 hybrid 16* set at 15* Ventus Blue 8X

-Mizuno STz 230 hybrid 19* Ventus Blue 9X

-Mizuno JPX 923 Forged4&5, Tour 6-PW Project X LS 6.5
-Titleist Vokey SM9 50F set to 51*, 56D, & 62M set to 61*

-Mizuno M-Craft OMOI Type 1 Blue Putter

Wow. That really surprises me.

And it's incredibly cheesy. Pretty much every other big manufacturer gives you dozens of upgrade choices.

With Ping or Titleist you can get pretty much anything as long as you want to pay extra for it.

Absolutely a great iron, but what does one expect coming into a thread about a new Mizuno iron release and pimping Srixon as better.

Ya, I guess you're right, I'm a Mizuno fanboy myself.. but had to cheat on them recently due to lack of lefty offerings and my disappointment in the 25s, so I picked up the 765s! The mp 18 sc will definitely get a chance to knock em out though!

I don't make blanket statements...it was initial reaction nothing wrong with Srixon. I play mp-5 and challenge anyone hitting anything to try them.

I wish! No dice for me as I stand on the wrong side!

Yeah. Thanks. I saw those on the site. I dont want any of them unfortunately.

Guess the question is now, which ones have the most resale value when I yank them and put them on BST or the Bay??

Did you try the 565s? For some reason I liked them better than the 900 forged, thought they felt better as well!

I have hit the 745's and owned 945's briefly., both great

There is something about the 900F that just clicks every box for me, along with the t7's. My set is in mint shape still, but they are just perfect for me, and I want another new set sitting as my backup, have a massive equipment purge going on, over halfway there.

I feel like the 900F were designed for me, just perfect. I am easily playing the best golf of my life with my current set up. I want the entire bag backed up.

Interesting, I lost none...just wish pw and 9 were a tad smaller. I finally saw 900 tour and prefer chrome for sure.

Just compared the offset numbers. The MB and SC's both have less offset respectively throughout the entire set then MP-5, JPX 900 tour and MP-25. These will be the best MP irons in years.

Do you guys think these will play comparable to MP-25's in terms of forgiveness?

The MMC and SC should play more forgiving.

Are you certain about this? From the pics those sc's look way less forgiving than the 25's. I thought the 25's weren't bad in the playability category at all!

Well I own the 765s and have hit the SC demo iron the 765s are a good club and a half longer and feel just as soft as any Mizzy. I've played every lefty Mizuno since the MP30 so I know of what I speak.
