... some more

Wow! Unbelievable collection. How do you store all of them?

Mostly like this ha ha

That is not all of them either, there are more at the other house. My mates are always going on at me to 'display' them, but really - easier said than done.

I have two nightmares:

One is that my wife opens a box and finds there are 6 putters in each of them and not just the one.

Two is that I die and the wife sells them all for what I told her I paid for them. :-))

Rob

You, my friend, have problems! What a collection

This is my new favourite thread, Great collections fellas!

This is my little stash :)

Welcome to The Monkey House!

That is a great stash you have with some interesting variety amongst them.

Good to see a guy who putts with Ansers and heel weighted putters. :-)

Rob

Your display cases are awesome. A vintage, a recessed....they look great...love the nostalgic case, the modern putter case, etc. Well done sir!

Here is a few pictures of my office set up. Started collecting 8802, napa and bb2 style putters about 4 years ago. I game a refinished 8813 from the late 60's. Like the club head to be lighter than the usual 350 g. Have some old stuff also. Love the history of golf. My latest pick ups were the original ping ansers shown with ball markers behind them...I now have three, Have a designed by arnold palmer but looking for a wilson staff 1962 without the designed by stamp...

Wow, very impressive. Did you build those display cases?

Thought this might be fun and could not find much with a search. Thought it might be fun to show off putter collections for those of us who collect. In this thread we could show what/if/how we display our putters and give those off us who like the putter porn our undivided attention.

My collection started a few years ago with an Odyssey #2 CS I bought off someone for $30. I had always preferred a flow neck with my putters but found no consistency. The #2 started draining putts for me and actually started this evil sickness of putter collecting. Being a lefty there aren't many CS putters out there and especially the wide body I prefer at address. I started sketching out putter ideas and had some great makers build me some putters over the past few years. I only collect left handed wide body CS putters (my preference is at exactly 1.5" wide) that were handmade or custom built for me because of my pickiness in shape, weight, width. Recently, I have really started to like the Notchback look. This is probably a pretty unique collection I would say. Unfortunately, I don't have a cool display rack to put them in, but they are currently squeezed into an Adams staff bag. If you look at my sig you can see the sticks I have and I photographed them in order of how I bought them over the past few years. I'm sure there are some WRXers out there that have boat loads more putters I'm looking forward to seeing.

I rotate my putters so they all get gamed but 1. 1 still hasn't seen the grass and I'll probably keep it that way.

I apologize for the sideways and low quality pics

Have you tried SeeMore. Seems like they are fantastic. I am aiming for a fitting. And I am a normal 8802 putter

MM,

Really like the variety of brands, finishes and headshapes in the collection. I would gladly roll any of your putters. Interesting to see the shape of the Tad next to the Scotty heads. Such similar lines, but subtle differences are apparent.

Thank you for sharing,

Mike.

I need to find a way come see your collection in Sydney Rob!

Just fantastic!! Did some of those Mills putters come with the exotic grips or were they put on by you??

Thank you for the kind words Marco.

No, they all came with Mills exotic grips except the Snake Skin on the Pro Series 'One' it had a generic grip on it anyway, so I swapped it out for something a little bit flash.

You have a bed and 3 square meals a day any time you make it down here my friend. :-)

Haven't got any nice show cases like above. But I have built a bit of a collection of 8802 styles in a short space of time.

IMG_1270.jpg

Intrigued about my latest one (on the far right) - the MacGregor VIP TFP 90-01. It's labelled 275 / 400 on the hosel.

If anyone knows anything about them, PM me (so as not to hijack the thread). thanks.

Nice collection of 8802-styled putters! That is also my fave style of putter. Collected a few over the years as well...

And since I know there are a lot of Scotty fans, will post a close up of the Napas :)

I have prob another dozen putters spread out among bullseyes, pintails, del mar and anser styled putters. But 8802s are my first love in putters.

Old stuff:
1962 Tommy Armour AT2W Driver   1953 Macgregor M65W EOM 3 wood   1978 H&B PowerBilt Citation 4 wood
1984 Ben Hogan Apex PC 2-E   1968 Wilson Dual Wedge
1964 Acushnet O-SET M6S Bullseye Putter

New stuff
Cobra ZL 10.5 driver (Matrix HD6 s-flex)  Titleist TSR2 18* fairway wood (Matrix Code-8 s-flex)   Adams A2P 20* hybrid (Rombax 8D07HB s-flex)
