Putter Collections- Show off your Flatsticks!

250+blades, this pic is about 130 or so.

 

All the old stuff (8802's, DBAP, AP, IMG's, etc.) 15 Napas (every production model), BB-2s, Bobby Grace, TPM, Honma, Every one of the Geo Low "Wizard" series w the exception of the Sportsman Wizard 600 (I do have the Bristol version). Naturally I've had the same Cameron Napa AOP in the bag for 20 years. Ridiculous I know but I love them all & thought the group might enjoy. I'll post a few individual pics and if anyone wants to see anything in particular let me know.

Occasionally someone will come along and wind people up by saying "Just use the one putter/driver/set of irons".

 

But mostly people on here are quite sane and have collections like ours :)

 

Whatever the question, "get another putter" is always the answer.

Rob, if you want to open a putter museum, not only would I go, I'd pay money to look at your collection.

Thought this might be fun and could not find much with a search. Thought it might be fun to show off putter collections for those of us who collect. In this thread we could show what/if/how we display our putters and give those off us who like the putter porn our undivided attention.

 

My collection started a few years ago with an Odyssey #2 CS I bought off someone for $30. I had always preferred a flow neck with my putters but found no consistency. The #2 started draining putts for me and actually started this evil sickness of putter collecting. Being a lefty there aren't many CS putters out there and especially the wide body I prefer at address. I started sketching out putter ideas and had some great makers build me some putters over the past few years. I only collect left handed wide body CS putters (my preference is at exactly 1.5" wide) that were handmade or custom built for me because of my pickiness in shape, weight, width. Recently, I have really started to like the Notchback look. This is probably a pretty unique collection I would say. Unfortunately, I don't have a cool display rack to put them in, but they are currently squeezed into an Adams staff bag. If you look at my sig you can see the sticks I have and I photographed them in order of how I bought them over the past few years. I'm sure there are some WRXers out there that have boat loads more putters I'm looking forward to seeing.

 

I rotate my putters so they all get gamed but 1. 1 still hasn't seen the grass and I'll probably keep it that way.

I know what is wrong with those putters,the heads are all pointed in the wrong direction. Very nice collection!

Thanks for bringing the thread back ‘moose. Pretty sure I’m the only one of my buddies that’s got more than 1 putter. I just picked up 2 Mannkrafted & a xenon in the last few weeks & was almost feeling guilty. My collection is now up to 6; nothing like some of these awesome collections. Thanks to you & the others here for showing all of them off & giving me something to shoot for; and to try to convince my wife that I’m not nuts.

Not a lot of space left on that wall. I'm certain you have other putters in the pipeline. What's the plan moving forward? Another wall? Back to the bags? Leave all the other clubs at home and play rounds with a bag of putters?

Love your collection my friend. The display is a fitting tribute. Really like the muted colours. The putters really 'pop'.

Haha, you have my exact thoughts Mike. Not sure the plan when all the space is occupied, I'm already pretty close. I guess I could always move the bags and start another row of putters underneath the first shelf. I do have a few putters in the pipelines I'm hoping to squeeze them in.

I used to have all the putters in my sig before the site changed. I'll try to add some pics of the putters without covers. My collection consists of 6 Xenons, 3 Bradley putters, 2 Byron Morgans, 2 Mannkrafted, 2, Lajosi, 2 Logan Olsons, 2 Tom Slighters, 2 American Putter Company, 2 Carbon Putters, 1 Raybon, 1 David Cushman, 1 Anton putter, 1 Piretti, 1 Golf Garage, 1 Black Lab. There's also an Odyssey #2 CS which is to blame for my addiction to center shafts. Unfortunately, my wall is a bit smaller than anticipated for my collection but it will work.

I’m new to it also but I pretty quickly went from quantity to quality. Now I’m only buying things I REALLY like. I like the unique touches from the smaller makers and everything I buy will see at least a little time in the bag.

I have started to sell a lot of my collection and will be moving most of it.

 

My darling niece has Tuberous Sclerosis and is severely disabled and the cost of medication here in Australia is scandalous.

I have decided she needs a good supply of medicine more than Uncle Rob needs his putters. :-)
