Wow! Unbelievable collection. How do you store all of them?

Mostly like this ha ha

That is not all of them either, there are more at the other house. My mates are always going on at me to 'display' them, but really - easier said than done.

I have two nightmares:

One is that my wife opens a box and finds there are 6 putters in each of them and not just the one.

Two is that I die and the wife sells them all for what I told her I paid for them. :-))

Funny what you can do when you are at home rotten with the flu!

Rob

Hope you're feeling better soon. Whenever you start to liquidate this amazing collection, I want a crack at some of those flow necks!! Beautiful stuff

Hello Frank!

You know I feel the same way about my putters as Charlton Heston and guns - "from my cold dead hands" ha ha. However, if the day comes, you have first pick of the flow neck shelf my friend! :-)

Here is the whole process. This is one of the first three that Kari actually forged. His Dad got number one, I believe he kept number two and I was fortunate enough to get number three. The guy makes his own Damascus - enough said! :-)

Rob,

I remembered seeing the putter featured on PT, but was unaware of its final destination. Also knew that Kari forged his own Damascus (which is unbelievably cool) but have never seen images of the process. True craftsmanship from another man down under.

Just recieved a sneak peak from Jeremy of the Nickent refinish, am waiting on some final thoughts from Lamont on a 3/4 Super Sport, and Tad shipping my handmade yesterday. Good times in the Great White North.

HAHA. Love this. So true. There's a few things I believe the wife should be left in the dark about, the price I paid for putters is definitely one of them!

TYVM Sir, tis a fine stash you’ve got there as well my friend. Right now the Studio Select has top spot, but I they’ve all seen some game time and still get used at home. I’m going to re grip the rest of them with standard pistol grips and give them all another whirl. I’m think I’m finally done with the bigger grip thing for now, I’m really liking the smaller grip of the Select so that’s going to be my next experiment :)

Which of yours sees the most action? Which is the favourite?

Good to hear you are 'calling them in' from everywhere Mike!

Look forward to seeing them in hand and getting some playing feedback. :-)

Too right Moose! The Missus and I have never had a proper argument over all these years so I will be keeping a lid on the 'Pandora's (Yellow) Box'.

I have worked a good system though, if the courier arrives at the wrong time, one must always ensure that the Yellow Box is accompanied by a Duck Egg Blue Tiffany one! :-)

Rob, bring them all up to my house. You can "display them" here if you like :)

Although we'd probably have to move out to make room....

And thank you for sharing them. I show my wife your putter collections each time. And each time it makes her further see that my motley little assembly of about 40 putters is quite insignificant. Which is perfect and all the wife needs to know.

I'll try get them all lined up 'a la Rob' and send a piccy in. Don't think I've ever put all my <decent> putters in the same pic. Maybe this weekend :)

(although I do currently have a Scotty Newport Studio Select 1.5 and a Spalding TPM7 on the way. Might wait)

Ok. Not in the same league as Rob (either for putters, or for the quality of photos of the line-up :) )

But here is my current collection of 'decent' putters. I have a few more no-names etc that are hanging around, but all of these one's I happily play and would not happily part with.

All up there are 30+. To the left (front) are my Anser styles. Middle (most of them) are 8802/Napa styles. Far right are 2x Titleist Bullseyes and my Spalding TPM's.

Most notable or brand name and/or classic putters in the collection are -

Scotty Newport 1.5

Scotty Napa 1995

Scotty California Monterey

Bettinardi BB1

Lajosi KLP7 wide back(?)

Machine M2A Convertor

Ping Anser (old style)

Ping Blade (old style)

The Wilson 8802

Odyssey #8 Black Series Tour Design (my current gamer)

Cobra CNC Milled Blade (previous main gamer)

Yonex Super ADX Forged (Lefty Phil's)

Old Master W802 (2x of these. 1x polished, 1x original condition)

Wilson 8802/8813 variants x6 or 7

Titleist Bullseye x2

Anser types to the left - 8802's/Napa's in the middle - Spalding TPM's to the right
