Tried one at Felix Clubworks today that was in his own putter and immediately bought one. It seemed like it is a little heavier than the regular steel shaft I have in my own gamer and it felt like it made my stroke much smoother. Distance control was better and like someone else said above it even made mishits feel solid. Can't wait for it to come in and get it installed in my own putter.

You still liking the shaft? Did Scott install it for you?

Played a round yesterday with it in my putter. I noticed the putts not going in the hole which was disappointing. But, it was more consistent on off center strikes. The putts stayed on line better. The feel was also more muted in the hands and a slightly different sound. Off center strikes weren't as harsh feeling. Overall, I'm please with it so far. Need some more time with it though.

The harsh feeling on a miss hit is there to remind you that you miss hit the ball, why would you not want to make it harder to feel a miss hit?

You can still feel a miss-hit. It's not jarring and the putter doesn't twist as much so putts stay on line better.

Speculation...have you even tried one??

I’ve read s lot of things on this site that make me shake my head, but this one is the icing on the cake.

If a $200 putter shaft makes you a better putter, well God bless you.

Speculation again...try it

Took it out for the first day on the course, you still have to be able to read the green. I burned so many edges right where I aimed the putt it was ridiculous! Never going to have a putter without this shaft installed.

I’d love to see some hard numbers on how much a putter shaft actually deflects on different length putts, I’d be willing to bet it’s basically Zero for anything under 35’.

If you had to buy something to see if it works the company making this snake oil already has what it wants from you. If you spend your money on this ridiculous thing of course it will "work" for you because you don't want to feel like you wasted money and will defend your purchase, just like I would in the same situation.

If these really helped everyone on the PGA tour would have one. You know the guys who have to make putts to support their family?

I had the opportunity to try the same putter with and without the shaft back to back on a 12 foot putt. Very easy to tell actually.

If the main point of this tech was to help with off center hits, the main reason you wouldn't/don't see them on tour is because the men on tour have a putter strike radius of about 1/4'' on the putter face. I.e, they don't need the help. It's probably why a bunch of guys are still playing Anser 1 style putters.... Why would you not use a mallet if the larger size/moi helped with stability? Ohhh because you're one of the best players in the world and you don't need it and you like the compact look and improved feedback? Gotcha.

My experience so far:

I still can't read the greens sometimes. If I read a just over the right edge break, I line up there and hit it.. I burn a lot of lips. I made a lot of putts from ranges that I wouldn't normally feel very confident.

I had a 12 footer for birdie that I could feel myself toe the HECK out of.. and it stayed on my line the entire way and dropped still. I only made 4 birdies but I burned the edge for eagle once, and for another 5 birdies. So if I read a green I would have had an eagle and 7 birdies. I was a +1 handicap for quite a while but have stepped away from the game when I changed jobs. (working two jobs as I transitioned over to full time)

If you make a perfect stroke every time... this is not the shaft for you.

If anyone wants to arrange to get one installed or try out our Demo here in Orlando shoot me a message. If you want to send in one of your backup putters to have one installed shoot me a message.

I disagree.. the manufacturers are making putter heads heavier and there lies the opportunity to bring technology to the putter shaft. Even the pro’s misfit putts on Sunday. The announcers will say he pulled it or pushed it but actually it’s a miss hit. Just my two cents on the above comment.

I’m trying to understand, but what’s really stuck in my head is that steel shafts are used in irons by the worlds top golfers. These guys swing very fast and hard, certainly much faster speeds than when using a putter. The steel shafts manage to deliver the head accurately, but with a putter head, it’s not stable enough for a simple, and quite slow putter stroke?

I also 100% agree with the poster who said that when you drop money on any piece of equipment to improve your game, your mind wants that piece to work, and if you drop $200 on a putter shaft, you REALLY want it to work and your perception can be influenced, not to mention, who wants to drop 2 bills on a putter shaft and admit it didn’t really change anything.
