Checkout said credit card ($30k limit, none used) was refused

CC says it wasn't them, it was WWG

Back to checkout with different CC, discovered WWG zeroed out my GPG Gift Card

GPG cust.svc said this happens all the time & whenever WWG comes back to work, they will issue their own Gift Card

Days later, now checkout works fine

same here - i’m a fan boy due to the people working at their stores - for retail they teach their staff how to work with customers.  pure class

 

i travel a lot and always try to find the local world wide golf shops (golf mart, edwin watts, las vegas golf store, etc. where ever i am)

 

been to more than ten in california over the years (hit three up this week already in Ca looking for used clubs), vegas, utah, hilton head, atlanta, Texas triangle, etc

Checked out used driver for wife.  She was not impressed.  Returned two days later.  Store credit??  Not happy!!  Think I can send that to Discover to cover the bill?

I will find a different store from now on.   Store credit is bull s***.  That was real $$$.  Not happy.  The Villages, FL store.

Maybe you should have read the stores return policy, it's public you know. Hopefully you learned something through this.

You should always read and know a stores return policy. I won't deal with a business that doesn't refund my money and/or charges a restocking fee. Lesson learned.
