We are also excited that things are working out as well as they have. JC (champx2), Ryan (Gxgolfer), and I along with Joe Kwok thought we could take the lessons learned form other sites and try to have a place that would foster a type of community that the members would want more of. Ever since the Moderators (Marshalls) have join aboard and now all the members have come on line, the community we planned for has come to life. A “gentleman’s” club where we can come to and be proud of. A site that allows honest and un-bias information to be presented and discussed.

 

After years of pouring countless hours our valuable time into sites that eventually would disappear or had profits ahead of members we decided to start something new. The need to spin the topics aren’t here, the requirement to sell goods isn’t here. We need to do one thing and one thing only- Make this forum and site the preferred place to come. How will we do this?

 

Gentleman’s club environment. (classy and civil community)

Pictures of equipment

Information ahead of other sites and publications

A lot of posts for topics (engaging active members)

Trustworthy people (owners, moderators, club fitters, teachers, sponsors, and members)

 

To do these things a lot has to happen. I think we have done a great job so far. Many more to come. We hope to roll out a successful “enhanced membership” service this winter that will be a “win win” for the members and the site. This service will allow the 3 of us to cover the cost of the site and then allow us to take it to the next level. What is great is that we all have careers outside of this site and we don’t have to have this place fund our families. Thanks god to, my kids would be pretty hungry. LOL

 

We hope that in the years to come our site will continue to grow and give 50 times the information, services and pictures we have today. That we will be equally as proud of our affiliation with Golfwrx.com as many of us are today.

 

Remember we are just golf junkies!

I have frequented some other ones, but I found all the people to be way to full of themselves, and negative to everyone else, and that is not the case here. Great job on a great forum, and thanks for a site that makes me feel connected to golf, even though I am way over here in the sandbox!!!!! :tongue:
