My buddy said the Z stars at Golf Town in our area were ransacked. Then more people came looking for more. If I did not stock up on Chromesofts and Supersofts, I would have bought the Soft Feels and QST.

Academy Sports site says 50% off instead of the standard $10 or $20 deal on Srixon balls. That makes it $15 for QST.

Don't see them offered at the discount anywhere now. Went to Academy in Rockwall yesterday and when the cashier rung up 2 dozen Q-Star Tour balls the total was about $43 with tax. I told her their own website had them for $15 each after discount on 2 dozen and even showed it to her on my phone. 3 clerks and 1 manager later they were sticking to the $20 each. So I ended the debate and ordered from my phone with free shipping total $31.85. Had the wife do the same and will have 4 dozen in about a week. I've never tried the "Q" versions but have the Z & XV and looking forward to these!

Then again, the stack of TP5/TP5X boxes is smaller every week when I go to play golf so obviously the members aren't too bothered.

I am to. But another way of looking at convenience is that there is a big stack of Srixons always at the ready on the shelf by the bag. No need for stopping at the register to have to buy them. I hate having to transact prior to playing..

My 6 dozen (ordered on the 16th) shipped today for Thursday arrival.

Ended up 7 dozen QS and a dozen XVs. Got them all for less than $90 shipped. Can’t beat those deals!

They left them in the big cardboard boxes so you could just pick one of those up and save yourself the hassle on carrying multiple individual ones. :rofl:
