Would a top 10 both here and in The Open get Tiger into Firestone?

 

He's going to need better than that. A solo second here won't even get him into the Top 50 due to the weakness of the field. He's stated he won't be adding tournaments to try to get into the field at Firestone, so he's got just these two shots.

Is the Firestone field top-50 in world or top 60? I thought the WGC fields usually have 60 players.

 

He won't do this but Tiger should play overseas the week before The Open. Would give him an opportunity to earn more points and get him acclimated with Links golf.

He's 4 under for the day and hitting a good percentage of his fairways...so I'd say pretty good.

 

Swing looks good from the highlights I've seen, the 3 wood to the par 5 was a beauty.

2. tournament winners around the world with at least a SOF of 115 since last year's WGC-Firestone

3. Top 50 in OWGR

4. a few tournament winners of Bridgestone associated events around the world (this column will most likely disappear when the event moves to Memphis next year)

On PC mine has the tenancy to cut out occasionally and when I switch back to that tab it'll load back up or at worst just refresh the page. Not "dead" on my end.

every once in a while i get the "unknown network error" message and the feed stops. I usually end up restarting my Galaxy Tab to get it to come back.

Well the story at the US Open was that he used it as a nod to the amateurs in the field. So yeah maybe he likes it or Skovron talked him into it. Either way its a sweet bag that you can have for the low, low price of $599 off of Cobra's web site.

I have a terrible service in my building so it's hard to stream on my phone and often cuts out. I had it on at home before work and it was perfectly fine.
