80 @ my favorite course old coorkscrew. F that course in the A. I actually really like it, but it's an animal at 7,400/77.6/153 and nowhere to bail out.....

 

Wow, you really shot a legit 80 from the tips on that course? I played it last October for the first time on a day off from my work down there. I played from a much shorter set of tees and got crushed. Congrats on your good play. .

With no wind in the morning I'm thinking Tiger shoots 67, maybe 66.

 

 

Hoping Cejka and I make the cut as I think were right on the cut line at +1 for the weekend

 

Nice recovery on the back nine, Creedo! Awesome eagle on drivable 280 yd #14 to 5' and drains the putt! Little stumble bogeys 15,16, then almost hole-in-one to 1' on 180 par 3 and saves par on 18 for 68 to make the cut! Sick!

Not positive the same guy as I'm not going back, but I'm pretty sure he wasn't being sarcastic. He picked him days ago, and *thinks* he is currently looking pretty good on our wager. "Thinks" being the key word!! ;)

Don’t wear golf shoes unless it’s going to rain and need waterproof. Caddies don’t wear golf shoes, throw on some running shoes

def legit. having been practicing a lot and playing well (and played very well to shoot that!). wife wouldn't give me a stroke if i was on my death bed too!

TW are basically sneakers. and comfy. just don't ever wear loafer if it's going to rain. ruined my fav loafers at the hero when it was in orlando getting caught in a storm following tiger...

I heard an interesting conversation between CHIII and Malnati when I was following them today.

 

Malnati was showing CHIII his new Titleist driver, and was saying that he was hitting much better when he orginally tested it then he was this week. Then CHIII went into CT limits and said something along the lines of the Titleist drivers he tested at one point were all around 144, while PXG was at 150 and Taylormade was basically at the limit at 256. I might of missed some things said after that, but it was a cool convo to listen in on.

Tomorrow's hole locations are fairly easy on 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 10, 13, 14

 

The greens were getting crispy by the time I got off the golf course so I'm thinking there wont be any scores below 65. The sun baked on the course all day so I think we'll see it become very firm and fast, which means higher scores

Last year -10 (David Lingmerth) was leading after 36 holes. 7 under won the event in a playoff (Kyle Stanley over CH3). Good luck on the weekend with Alex.

Which if the course firms up will see the winning score be around -8/-9.

 

Very surprised to see so many low scores so far but the wind hasn’t been a big factor which it can be from about noon onwards.
