Anyone want a tour issue CT Pan M3 head? Pre-Split shaft and head for buyer!

 

What happened? I heard the announcers mention he destroyed it but there was no video of it that I saw.

 

Hit a poor drive and smacked the ground with it. Nothing too vicious, but a bad angle and the shaft broke.

Looks like tiger spent too much time on putting last week. He hasn't hit the ball very good today.

 

I root for Tiger but I haven't liked his swing since pre foley days so doesn't really matter to me much anymore.

Compared to where we was with Foley and Como, his swing looks crazy better. They ruined a Picasso with crayons. Especially Como. UGH!

 

Tiger barely played under Como, and when he did he was nowhere near healthy. Post-fusion, we only saw him in one event under Como and that was the 2017 Hero. His current swing IS the Como swing with some tweaks.

That's true, I'm pretty sure como was a pushover when it came to tigers swing changes especially coming from someone like foley and the criticism. He might work with someone once he has learned what his body can do

there are players who remain good putters all throughout heir career and those who don't..

 

i would include players like Loren Roberts, Ben Crenshaw, Corey Pavin, Brad Faxon and even Jack Nicklaus and Lee Trevino among others in the former group.

 

....in the latter Ben Hogan and Sam Snead would be among the more prominent ones..

 

Tiger is on the verge of joining the latter group if his putting does not improve soon..

Como wasn't really with Tiger for the swing in a traditional sense. A friend of mine (in the same circles as Como and other health and mobility guys) said Como's time with Tiger wasn't really about the golf swing instead it was more about avoiding things in the swing to stay healthy and take pressure off area's of the body (mainly the back). Once Tiger learned what he needed to he was fine to move forward on the swing itself.

Yea, I'd agree with that. I do know como wanted his hands higher up because Tiger mentioned it in a clinic he did when he came back before the fusion. He said he has only been able to get it like 2 inches higher though, and showed how high como wanted them. Was nearer to 2000 swing and Jamie lovemark

He let all the hype of his "mental game" get to his head. He's been way overthinking since 09 and playing Thursday and Friday rounds like he's trying to preserve an 8 shot lead.

He has always been conservative. His iron play, wedges and short game always got the ball so close. Now he still plays conservative but isnt as crisp with his irons.

I know it’s an insert, but it actually visually seems to vault off that face. I wonder if he should have the boys make him a solid one?

He does seem to put a good stroke on it for what that’s worth.

 

I need to watch more but it seems he’s shooting by the hole a bit too often. Scary comebackers.

Thanks for the video. The way it was discussed over and over by the announcers seemed like he beat the crap out of it or something. That was pretty mild.
