New TM UDI

Liking the address pic. Looks a lot like the OG UDI.

 

 

I am happy I got the P790 UDI....sets up cleaner at address.

 

This looks exactly like the Cobra Utility at address. I don't mind it but I hit it to high so I just ordered the P790 UDI with Tensei Pro White. I have no patience.

I have the 790 UDI too. Now that i have the weight right, I dont think I'll be getting the GAPR any time soon. Although, I do have a gap between my 4 UDI and 2 UDI so a GAPR 4 might be the trick. Or just a 790 4i.

Does anyone know if TM will be releasing a .355T adjustable loft sleeve? Do they currently have one? Seems like they are forcing the retail public towards graphite. May be better for the masses but I'm not giving up on my 125's anytime soon!

Don’t know if its been said yet but on fairwaygolfusa.com it has the shafts that will be offered for the LO, MID, HI. It seems to be similar to whats offered for the P790 UDI, graphite and steel shaft offerings.

Same old limited options in left hand. Apparently lefties have less gaps that need filled. A 5 hybrid would be a really nice option to have in left hand.

I think those two options are what DJ is testing this week. Because they are only showing the KBS Hybrid shaft as the only "stock" option on the TM website.

 

They are however now showing a Aug 17th Preorder date.

 

I'm still holding out hope for some decent upgrade low launch shaft options.

 

I meant he is testing one with steel and one with graphite to see what he likes best.

 

Retail is graphite only like the 790 UDI. Steel shaft is custom order only.

First post on the forum. Got my new GAPR mid today with the Tensei Blue 80 HY x-stiff shaft. Here's a comparison against my P790 3 iron and my M2 3 hybrid. Haven't hit it yet, but plan on replacing the hybrid with the GAPR ASAP

No, not significantly more. Really felt like the backside was the biggest difference at address for me.

Just went to a demo day yesterday and tried the TM GAPR Mid4, and I couldn't hit a bad shot. With the GAPR, they were solid straight. Was fun to have people from our club that know me standing behind me for 20 min saying "haven't seen you hit a bad shot yet..." Had the guy set it to 2 setting further (4->6 Hyb? or 2+ degrees?) and started hitting higher shots. I was reaching the green at the end of the driving range and then I realized, they moved the tee boxes to the beginning of the tee box area for the Demo day instead of 20 yards further ahead where it had been the previous 2 weeks!!! I must have hit that thing for half hour, easily 40-50 balls, maybe 3-5 bad balls total. Guy looked at me and said "should I order it....and without hesitation I said.... YES". I generally like smaller-headed clubs (440cc driver, thin topline irons, etc). It was as easy as hitting an iron....flush. Mine had the KBS Hybrid 70/Reg shaft. Will be seeing my 2018 Cally Rogue Hybrid on the bay this week.

A buddy has a Lo 2 iron with the hzrdus shaft. That thing is a cannon and is almost as long as his 3 woods. It feels pretty good as well

I’m thinking of adding the gapr lo 3 with PW 90

My Gapr Lo makes a kind of whistling sound through impact. Wondering if anyone else’s does this or whether something is lose in the clubhead?
