The description of this sub forum indicates this is where one goes when having trouble with a transaction.

 

Since the feedback system is flawed in the way that negatives don’t truly affect your rating, it’s important for us to help others avoid iffy users that come here and buy their way into the BST to pull stunts like these. A couple of “baby” transactions will build up some vanity feedback and then someone here will get taken for a fool and get scammed out of hard earned cash.

there should be a color code assigned for negative feedback so that you know right away. there are color codes for moving up, but nothing to scream "hey i am going to screw you"

there should be a color code assigned for negative feedback so that you know right away. there are color codes for moving up, but nothing to scream "hey i am going to screw you"

 

I like the idea but with emojis instead of the color code. Snowflake represents the flakes who back out or quit responding. And a poop emoji for anyone with 2 or more negatives. I'm sure we could figure out some more.

Go up to your username and click the drop down arrow. Manage ignore prefs is where you want to go. From there, select username of person you wish to block. You check the features (content, PM, etc) that you want to block.

Does the fact that I leave my browser at home open all day, even if I'm at work for 10 hours, count towards "being on the site" all day? This site is my home-page, so if I forget to close the browser does it say I'm "online" all day?

 

Just curious, don't have any skin in this fight and have never used the BST for anything. I don't come here to sell/buy/swap gear, just to gather some useful equipment/club building info and occasionally stumble into an interesting thread like this.

Usually, however the BST is generally great bc its all custom items that are hard to find or take a while to get made to spec etc. And usually it’s populated by good people that aren’t trying to “come up” by scamming a few bills from fellow golfers.

This just blows me away, and reinforces that the BST is almost a separate site from the rest of the WRX. There are a ton of people who are just here for the classifieds, and never look in another section.

Just bought the 5 wood head he was selling on the bst. Received it yesterday. Fair deal, great communication and fast shipping. No complaints here. I read this entire thread before engaging but felt like giving him the benefit of the doubt was worth the risk for me.

Yeah i agree that as a buyer with paypal goods and services you have security. Just a matter off integrity and possibly dealing with a bunch of bs if things go wrong
