Just the fact that they are selling the jacket in both Snorkel (brighter) Blue and Oxford (darker) Blue makes me very confident that they are selling the "non-zoned" version of the jacket. The zoned version is only available in the Oxford Blue.

Just got the Sun Mountain Hybrid Jacket from TGW that was on sale. I think it's previous year's model. With the extra 20% off, it was worth taking a chance. Plus, the reviews were nice and confirmed sizing.

It's really gotten confusing now!

They (TGW.com) have a Norse Primaloft II in a single color (Oxford, aka Navy) for $49.98, but shows the Zoned. Also, the Zoned is the only model that comes in just one color. PING Men's Norse Primaloft II Golf Jacket | TGW.com

Hope everyone gets what they think they are ordering! Appears as if TGW has really screwed up both of these listings.

I guess I can share this, now that some of these retailers are blowing pieces out. PING does not appear to be moving forward with apparel into the new year, as there is no 2020 catalog or offerings as of yet. Since we (retailers) would have long since placed Spring/Summer pre-book orders by now, I think it's safe to say there will be no new offerings for 2020 once current stock is depleted. One of the reasons I've been stockpiling and hoarding Norses and other PING outerwear into my personal collection since July. There is simply no other golf company currently making cold weather gear as good as the PING stuff, and as a lot of you know, I've tried everything out there. It will be a real shame if PING doesn't continue with apparel.

The photo on the Ping Site makes the zipper look like it's different color blue than the rest of the jacket. But the photo on TGW's site, shows a zipper color that matches the rest of the jacket. I realize that TGW has the zoned version labeled incorrectly. I'm just questioning what the zoned version actually looks like.

I also grabbed a "Norse II " from TGW and they let me have it for $39 when I asked. Shows delivery of Thursday. We shall see!

Thanks. When I saw the picture at TGW, I thought that it must have been some other style because the zipper matched the rest of the jacket. But, someone must have touched the photo up, thinking that the different color zipper is a mistake.

Also, I noticed another issue at the TGW site. They are displaying the Ping Size chart for shirts, not for jackets. If someone uses the size chart shown at TGW, they will likely order a jacket that is a size too small for them. At Ping, an XL jacket fits chest size 42-45". At TGW, they show 42-45" chest as Large.

That is a good catch! But given how messed up tgw has the listings, it’s also probably equally likely that someone ordering a Norse from them will, in fact, receive a PING shirt! LOL.

That’s disappointing to hear, as I have grown to really love ping clothes, mainly because of you in these threads, but only when I could find them at good prices or had shop credit. I may have to order another set of zero gravity rain gear and the Norse fleece because the prices are so good

Yeah, I have loaded up, as you know. 8 Norse IIs, not counting the ones I have as my work uniform. A couple of the Zoneds just for the heck of it, a few Zero Gravity tops (the full zipper model is/was the best), a couple of the Norse Fleece (loving this piece more and more (wearing it today actually), I don’t even know how many Eldens, and just took delivery of a couple of additional Eldens and another Norse Fleece today. I don’t plan on running out of this stuff, it’s my favorite apparel maker by far, and it’s not even a close contest.

You have to remember that in the marketing photos (pretty much all apparel is like this), the garment (if it's a photo of a real garment, and not a render) is on a form/mannequin to make it look as it would on a person (an ideally proportioned person, none the less)...a garment filled looks much different than hanging flat on a hanger. Take any piece of apparel you can think of that you really like the looks of and search for it on eBay, where real people are posting real photos of it. It will always look less than ideal.

And of course, you have to have a similar body shape/proportions to make any piece of apparel look on you the way it does in marketing photos.

If you want the fully insulated one, I'd say it's the one with the two color choices, despite any photo, listing title, or description they show.

I'm not a fan of how the zoned version of the jacket looks. But, I already own the navy blue version of the fully insulated version and I think that it's a good looking jacket and have received compliments that "it looks good on you".

If I had an open mannequin in the shop, I’d put them both on it so people could see how they look. But I don’t, and I’m not going through the pain in the a** it is to undress a solid armed mannequin.

I'm getting to be as bad as you. I had already ordered 3 Eldens. But, when TGW put them up for $25, I bought the other two colors that I didn't have. Then when the Norse II hit $40, I bought a second navy one, this time in XL because I'm kind of between sizes with the plan for the smaller size to be the better fit. Now, I just ordered the light blue version of the Norse II in both sizes.

They are currently selling the Primaloft fleece for $50. But, they only have it in L & XL, which I'm kind of happy about having just purchased a used XXL more than that. I find the fleece to be a little more snug than the insulated jacket is. So, I'm not going to order another fleece in XL (although I have considered it).

Does the Norse II (not zoned) have flaps at the bottom/waistline? It looks like, from the pictures just posted, there are 2 flaps in front and assuming 2 on the back?

Even though I just ordered the Sun Mountain (I like 2 tone and think it looks good), I'd be inclined to order this at these prices if someone can report back which model is which listing.

Oh. The bottom of the jacket is square. What you are seeing is just an illusion created by the folds in the jacket during packaging.
