Tried ACCRA shafts for the first time this weekend, really loved the feel.

Don't know Oaks. Sounds like some excuses to me! Do runners stop running when it's cold? No they find a way. Hitting inside,outside,etc. Tell you what. I will be checking out mine tonight indoors and let you know! We shall see. Looking forward to checking it out.

I really like the font/graphics. Accra is so underrated. Their 100i iron shafts are the cats meow.

 

Liked because you used the term "cats meow." I have a standing rule that anyone who uses "the cats meow" or "the bees knees" gets an automatic like.

Anymore commentary on past generation shafts? OP could you perhaps comment on the FX vs Concept Series you have. Thinking about taking one of these for a spin. Accra's tolerances and quality are really second to none from what I've seen. I've only hit the old Tour Z LS in a fairway wood but loved the feel.

 

Pretty much looking at FX and Concept series as you can't beat the prices with a stick. Any thoughts on shaft profile, ball flight etc. would be a great read!

The tour z Xtreme low low

 

Concept mid mid low similar to rogue 125 with less spin

 

RPG low low nor responsive feel than tour z xtreme

I have RPG 3 series (red ones) in both my driver and 3w. Shafts feel amazing yet stable. Really happy with them

Accra makes great shafts. The feel is great and results are top notch. I gamed a RPG 472 M5+ and was a great shaft. Numbers were about even with my Tensei, just slightly different feel. I have become so use to the Tensei that I went back to it.

I was leaning towards the CS1 - glad you confirmed. Gawain just seemed REALLY excited about the work that went into that shaft in one of the vids I saw.

 

What are your thoughts about the TZP's profile - does it feel stiffer/softer in any particular parts of the shaft?

I got fitted into the FX Series 360 M4 (Yellow Graphics) with the TS3 Head. Had the best numbers compared to the Atmos Black and Tensei Pro Orange. Easy to load and smooth through the hitting zone. All relatively close between the 3 shafts but the Accra felt the best and then the Tensei Pro Orange was a really close 2nd. The only thing holding me back from the purchase is the graphics on the Accra Shaft lol.

They might make great shafts, but they can't decide on a logo can they? The newest version font is the worst of all of them IMO.

And to think someone got paid to design those :wacko:
