How do you like the U500 with the DI shaft? Which one did you go with 95 or 105?

What heavier, x-flex shafts is everyone going with?

I am Diamana DF and D+ in my driver/fw, was thinking of either the Diamana D+ 100x or the Tensei White mentioned above

Well went back to the range and tested the TS3 again with the Tensei Pro White 90, EvenFlow Blue 85 and Atmos Tour Spec HB Blue 8S all against my 818H2 and I’m not going to keep the TS3. Don’t like the sound/feel off turf and actually surprised how well the 818H2 did against it.

I was hitting U500 perfect but couldn’t hit one single shot to save my life with U510 :-)

How did you decide on the u500 3i? did you try the u510 as well?

I just knew what I wanted out of the ball flight. I have a pretty high swing speed and high ball flight. I never like to see the back of the club behind the topline. I will be interested to see how it feels and sounds compared to my 716 TMB with ADDI 105X. The U500 is a little chunkier but hopefully that wont be a bad thing. I do like to sometimes take a divot when I'm trying to hit the low bullet with it. The only thing I really wanted out of the U500 compared to my TMB was a lower trajectory. I guess time will tell. Arriving tomorrow or wednesday it looks like.

What graphite shafts are you seeing with this?

In love. U500 3 with Tensei white 100X 1* strong. It’s a low bullet which is just what I was looking for. Shaft is stout but stable and still responsive. Only thing I would change is after looking at the 620 MB’s offset the offset on these look huge, although a small amount is due to it being 1* strong.

Looks good! I just ordered a U500 2i with a tensei 100 as well. To me it felt like the U500 had less offset than my 718TMB 2i, but felt a lot more stable due to higher MOI. I’m anxious to feel the combo with this shaft. I am a high ball flight guy (play whiteboard in my woods, and x100’s in my irons). But I like a mid to low penetrating ball flight out of this club for a 260-265 yard straight ball fairway finder off the tee on shorter tight holes.

You ordered what you wanted. I had an ADDI and between Tensei and 1* strong it really brought the ballflight down. I have the same trouble with hitting irons too high.

Preordered my u500 2 iron on 8/8 and just found out it doesn’t ship until Friday. Wastes the point of preordering if you get it after they come out in stores

That’s strange. Based on your avatar if you’re in San Jose you should’ve had it by now. I ordered my TS3 hybrid on 8/8 from a local roger Dunn and got it last week. That sucks man I would be pissed too

Just got my U500 3 iron yesterday, ordered it with the Smoke Hzrdus 6.5 shaft. Not sure if I will keep that shaft in there or go with something else. Does anyone know what the hosel diameter is on these? I kind of assume its .355, but wasn't sure if they might have went different(.370) with them with graphite shafts becoming more popular in these clubs.

I called titleist and they told me its a tx, not the x. Now I'm confused, they also said it wasn't a made for. The standard stiff is too soft but feel a tx is too much.
