That putt was the hardest shot I’ve ever hit. I’m impressed someone got it to 6 feet, when we went in 2017 closest had to be over 20 feet. I was more scared of taking a chunk out of their beautiful green than focused on the putt.

I might or might not have took a little chunk out. I’m gonna let you in on a secret. I did.

I’m not there again. We had the same putt back in 2017, it’s an 80 yard long 10-15 yard wide green. We played three holes, the par 4, a par three to the front of the green, then the putt

We did a par 4, the putt, and a 50 yard wedge shot. Almost the same.

I can confidently tell you seeing everything that goes into making Titleist golf balls that other brands don’t do completely changes your outlook on golf balls and is the reason I will only play Titleist golf balls going forward.

100% this, I was already playing pretty much only titleist, but this trip has absolutely solidified the balls I'm playing from now on

No doubt! There is a reason they are the No. 1 ball in golf by miles!! All the marketing hype in the world doesn't get you that But quality and performance absolutely will.

It's kind of cool to hear the stories about the other OEM balls that were displayed. I bet that was eye opening, I've seen a similar demonstration on a smaller scale at some TT events.

Is it wrong that out of all this stuff I'm most jealous of the guy with the 120 club head speed?

There were 2 of us that touched 120 on trackman yesterday @@drewmiller07 and I both had numbers north of 120 club head speed. Unfortunately, due to some proprietary data being collected on a prototype ball, I could not share that trackman data photo. However, 121.3 clubhead speed, 173 ball speed. 298 carry and 318 overall I believe were the results of that particular swing.

Everyone on the trip has been awesome to hang out with. GolfWRX and Titleist are top notch in every way!

Can you find out what finally pushed them into producing a yellow proV? what market data they used? Who finally sold who on the idea?

The colored ball market is the highest it’s been since 1980. Fairly easy decision.

Doing a colored ball with a urethane cover especially with how titleist does it, needed proper research to do it correctly. They had to change things for the yellow ball to do it right, but make it play the exact same way the white version plays.

Forever Changing at this point.......

The company my uncle works for, AkzoNobel, used to supply the polymers for the original ProV. They might still be one of their suppliers, I’m just not sure. But man it was awesome cause every Christmas I’d get a 2 dozen ProVs!
