Yellani isn't on the same pac e as last week but it most likely an emotionally draining experience.

On the other end of the spectrum is Muni. She's four shots over the cut line, and needs to cash a big check to keep her card. She's only made 4 cuts with a best finish of 39T.

Muni's essentially only made 2 cuts. Thailand and HSBC were no cut events and she played on an exemption so she didn't get any official money.

Fassi is quite a bit ahead of Kupcho right now on the money list. Kupcho would need like a Top 5 finish or so this week just to catch her after this week?

Scores today are good, but higher than yesterday. 'Nice -4 round by Lexi to grab the lead.

Having a 3 wood that goes 240-250 then a wedge in, is a crazy advantage. That putter though....she left a lot of shots out there despite going bogey free.

No doubt. Lexi is ranked 53rd in putts per GIR, the lowest rank among the Top 20 players in the World. If she could make just one more putt per round she's jump to #4 in scoring average.

I swore I heard them say she popped a 3 wood 304yds yesterday? Did I image that?

Full card is top-100; good enough for all full field events. However, ANA may require top-80 priority.

Top-60 is needed to be safe for Thailand and Singapore in winter time.

Any rookies that are outside of Top-100 that surprise you? Kristen Gillman is quite high. Charlotte Thomas, Lauren Stephenson, and Fassi are all in a decent position (still need to play the rest of the way but have a good shot at Top-100 with minimal add'l earnings). Kupcho, if she has a good round tomorrow, should be around these people.

I sometimes forget how good Sei Young is. She streaky, though. Heck, she played night and day in today's round, stumbling on the front, and playing solid on the back. Like any of the top players, when she gets a hot putter she's hard to beat.

Lexi could have had a decent lead, but her putter let her down again (minus the 18th). The fact that she's only one shot off the lead says a lot about her ballstriking. Wedge game was pretty solid today.

I don't think Jennifer has the firepower to catch the leaders, but a good day tomorrow should seal a top 10.

Is Carlota going to do the usual? I'm expecting it.

6ix seems to be having difficulties with her reads. 'No surprise for a first time visit. She could put herself in a good position to steal a win if Sei Young and Lexi stumble.

I'm liking the tournament so far. 'Not sure why it's playing as hard as it it. There seems to be no defense in front of the greens. It looks like a number of holes require a fade off the tee, and most of the players favor a draw.

Let's not forget she is 5th amongst Koreans in career LPGA victories with 8, some tough competition ahead with Se Ri, Inbee. I have no doubt she can catch Jiyai and NYC. For now it appears her and SH Park will be climbing the list.

As noted many times, her lack of a major will keep her in the shadows for now.

Jaclyn Lee was the most improved player last year; she burst into the scene.

She hasn't made the same transition into professional rank; her wrist injury is only part of the story.

I'm not sure how the wind was all day, but when I paid attention to some players they were hitting it about 300 yds, and I wanna say the 1st measuring hole is the 11th but I wasn't paying close attention and could easily be wrong lol.

I think Lexi was averaging 304 off the tee for the third round, I also believe she only used a driver once all round?
