Kupcho is now 34th on the Money List. Quite impressive to easily earn Top 80 status in such few stars. Fassi is close at 81st right now.

In 2015 Minjee and Alison Lee were fairly similar. Minjee did manage a win that year but their stats were not that far apart. 5 years later and the story is quite different. NYC and Hee Young Park are also dangerously close to the Top 100 cutoff...

I've always liked the tournament. I remember Ai getting her first win here in '09. Similar to TPC Sawgrass, it doesn't favor any one type of player. Short and long hitters can compete as long as they keep it in the short stuff, and can manage the tricky greens. Low scores are possible, but so are high scores.

I told you so...Gone like the wind in bad weather. She does not have the all around game that other's possess. In pristine conditions, hard to combat, but anything other than that, forget it, and it's in her head. JYK is the best ladies golfer on the planet right now by a significant amount. I would not expect her to win the British, but would not be surprised at all if she is in the mix.

You may be right. SHP is 25 or 26. Singh, Mickelson & Hogan's careers were pretty much over at the same age. They have that simulator tour back in Korea or wherever the heck she's from. Maybe she can latch on there.

Congrats to Yuka and Albane. The two amateurs both made the cut, and finished at even par.

A lot of players headed in the wrong direction on Sunday, but the scores weren't outrageous. A lot of +2 to +4 rounds, which given the conditions, was not all that bad.

It would be interesting if the other Yuka (Saso) was there too. Saso's swing is something to behold.

A Jin Young Ko tribute:

[https://lpga.com/news/2019-jin-young-ko-on-the-brink-of-history](https://www.lpga.com/news/2019-jin-young-ko-on-the-brink-of-history "https://lpga.com/news/2019-jin-young-ko-on-the-brink-of-history")

"Just like that, Jin Young Ko has gone from 2018 Rolex Rookie of the Year to the brink of history. When she added the Evian Championship on Sunday to the ANA Inspiration title she won in April, Ko positioned herself to walk with legends this week at the AIG Women’s British Open.

There have only been a half-dozen players win three professional majors in a season – men or women – and they are all greats of the game: Babe Zaharias, Ben Hogan, Mickey Wright, Pat Bradley, Tiger Woods and Inbee Park. Ko can join them this week at Woburn Golf Club in England."

enjoyed watching this tournament..very impressed with Jennifer Kupcho specially going for the green on 18,,,also felt sorry for HJKim for being unlucky on 1 hole but still impressive considering she was outdriven by as much as 50+ yards by SHPark...

She was playing in the US Junior Am.

Medalist, but lost in the semis.

I think Yuka (Saso) needs to miss more greens so that her short game-under pressure will become develop.

Yuka played well during her semifinal loss; but Jillian Bourdage was out of this world that day.

Yuka is like Yealimi Noh; both are powerful and fantastic; but both need to improve their short games.

Yuka and Yealimi will be fighting for world supremacy for a long time.

"Last week at the 25th annual Evian Championship, I didn’t play as well as I had wished. Nonetheless, I love coming back here every year and definitely enjoy my time spent at Évian-les-Bains.

Evian Resort deserves to be one of the finest venues to hold a major championship. A big shout out to Franck, Jacques, and all the staff at Evian Golf Club who make this event always classy and memorable. Looking forward to next year because I will be back! I ❤️ you Evian!"
