One fairway looks bad, but the rest of her complaints are out of line (in my opinion). I not a big fan of hers but I've never really thought negatively about her either. But add this to the list of items that makes the American players come across as entitled spoiled brats, complaining divas, etc.

Yeah, Unilever reported weak ice cream sales due to the wet spring, but a bounce back should be coming in Q3.

But when the US OPEN (men) was hosted at Chambers Bay, the PNW was experiencing record heat and drought conditions and they simply fried the course for it.

Nonetheless, I agree with you, but it's a tad disappointing that some dont take the climactic factors into consideration.

Just read her post. It's not as bad as people may be making it out to be. That was pure frustration. She didn't get any breaks and it got inside her head. I still stand by my earlier post, but I get it.

Well they did drop her out of the coverage out of pity lol. This is actually what I want from majors, if you are off you get punished and Maria ballstreiking today was horrible and +7 is what you get and deserve at a major.

Like so many if the LPGA event were 36 holes she'd have multiuple wins but they are 72 and she'll always have that +4 round. On the plus side when it comes to the bench press Caroline is undisputed lol

I shouldn't be surprised to see Amy Olson near the top of the leaderboard, although she did miss the cut in her last four starts. I bet she's dying to make up for her late mistakes at last year's tournament.

Lexi complained about the Evian, Stacey tweeted a complaint about 51/2 hour rounds(I agree) and Paula replied in agreement. Now I'm starting to like the Evian as a Major more and more lol.

She's replaced it with a "that's not what I meant" post now. She's not the only one that's criticized the course this week though.

Spent the day holding my breath hoping In Gee would make the cut; she did.

Both In Gee and Yealimi need to move up over the weekend; both need additional official money to solidify their status.

In 2010 as a 15 yr old she shot -13 good enough for a T2, a 3rd place in 2013, T10 in 2014, and a solo 2nd in 2015. It suited her just fine for awhile..

A 5 1/2 hour round is BS. Nothing wrong with calling that out and being frustrated.

It might of been better if Lexi didn't post anything about the setup. Players are shooting good scores. I think the course setup was crippling longer players off the tee. If you look at the leaderboard, there are not many big hitters. So, the longer players probably had to scale back off the tee with irons, hybrids, or fairway woods to hit fairways to avoid rough and score.

Sung Hyun, Sei Young, Mel, Amy, and Charley are not short hitters. Heck, Mi Hyang is averaging 264 for the season. I haven't seen anyone hit a fairway wood off the tee yet. The course is simply tough, and doesn't favor the long hitters. Putting is key with the tricky greens.

Pace of play is horrible on all tours, but the tours aren't handing out penalties. If they allow the first group to set that pace, then it must be acceptable to the officials.
