Callaway Super Hybrid vs Mavrik Hybrid

Found the 20* to be a weapon off the tee, mid flight low spin 235 yards or so. The issue for me was using it for approaches. I needed to hit my hybrid more to a number than I could with this club. I used it for 2nd shots into par 5s mostly and one very long par 3 we have at my club (238 yards). I liked I could flight it low and high, but I play firm/fast greens and it just wasn’t the best overall option for the bag. I switched to a Gen 2 PXG 19* with Tensei Pro Blue 80x.

Is the distance the same if the lofts are the same between the super hybrid and mavrik hybrid?

I currently have an M2 tour 3 wood with some sort of X shaft that I just can't hit off the tee or off the deck so I'm looking to replace it. I've never really hit the 3 wood great as it is but it seems turning down the super hybrid to 16 degrees would get pretty close to a 3 wood. I'm around the same handicap as you (5.3 index), is the contact and control better with the super hybrid than the 3 wood? I have a 3 hybrid I hit about 235 already and I'm looking to close the gap between my 3 hybrid at 235 and my driver that carries around 260-270

The mav hybrid is going absurd distances for my self at the moment...im blowing by greens.. i say this with a smile. Its only going anywhere from 185 to 200. Id say its mostly going 190. This is exactly what i was looking for though so im happy.
