Name on Bag

Your bag, do what you want, nobody outside of this forum will pay much attention to it out in the real world although some people on here (oddly) criticize the weirdest things. Not sure why people care what someone else does. I don’t have my name on my bag but a couple of my buddies have funny nicknames we call them by on their bags and we all think it’s hilarious.

How low does your hcp have to be for you to have your name on your bag? Ready Go!

 

I think having your name on your bag becomes acceptable when you play in unhandicapped competition.

When I first started playing I worked in a bowling pro shop. One of my vendors was also a sales person for Nakashima Golf. He gave me a stand bag with my name embroidered on it and I used that bag for years until it fell apart. I had more comments about the bag being Nakashima than I did my name being on it.

 

I say it goes the same route as someone who shows up to the course head to toe in one brand (Nike, Under Armour, etc.) Some may call you a poser but who cares. If it makes the game more enjoyable to you then that is all that matters.

i might put my initials on a bag but not full name. Just not my style. I also have a long last name so it would probably take up to much room since I use carry bags.

Just ordered a new Titleist stand bag with club logo and my name on it. Will look awesome. No big Titleist logo on the side

I just ordered a new Vessel bag and had the club logo put on it instead of my name. I think it's just your preference on what you prefer.
