Yeah, each state will be a bit different. I bought a putter 1.5 weeks ago and it was held up at the origination USPS office for 3 days. 4th day the package was estimated for delivery to me in 2 days. Took 3 days for the Los Angeles post office to scan the package...

Once it got to florida it took 2 days to get to me.

I'll leave politics out after this statement...the states that will have the biggest delays are the ones where governors are refusing to abide by "flatten the curve" and instead are bent on eradication.

Luckily there isn't a high priority to get out there yet, good weather is coming next week so I have some time. I haven't been this excited for a new golf product in a long time.

Update: I have picked this grip up once a day for the last week and hit 5 minutes of putts and I still can’t find a comfortable position. Anything that feels “locked in” to the wrist also feels like I’m death gripping the club.

I did read that SS is only shipping out orders once per week due to the working restrictions so that could be why you haven't rec'd a Tracking Number yet. Hope it gets to you soon, my friend!

Left hand low is a left arm dominated putting stroke. I think you’d get similar results and feel by moving back to right hand low but locking your left wrist. Could also try full armlock onto the left forearm with an armlock putter.

All three options leave the right side passive. Give them a try!

That's a good looking flat stick. I wonder if the putter type and stroke have anything to do with it. I would think (hope) this grip would favor a straight back to straight through stroke and a face balanced putter style. @Kpt37 you mention that you came from an arm lock where you're used to more loft than a standard Golo 5, that could be a factor too. Which arm lock putter do you game?

Thanks. So far I’ve put it on two different putters, this one and a bettinardi ss2. As far as the forward press and effective loft, etc, it’s not so much that, and the quality of the roll, it’s that I can’t find a position where anything feels locked in with this grip. Doesn’t contour my wrist properly. Probably a case by case depending on the person.

On the armlock side, I have a bettinardi ss28 with 5 degrees of loft and a Toulon Las Vegas with 3 degrees of loft. I don’t really need the extra loft personally when arm locking because I hold my left elbow in pretty close to my body, so the putter doesn’t forward press very much.

Since sbst doesn't really exist, I don't think the grip will be better for that "type" of stroke. I play a toe hang mallet and I have toyed around with an old wallet between my left wrist and the putter. I also have a face balanced mallet I did the same toying.

Wristlock should simply reduce face rotation brought on by over active wrists. Every putter, full toe hang to face balanced has rotation. Wristlock should help keep the face more square to path, making the stroke a lot more about path.

Just installed and feel the same way. Maybe its just my wrist anatomy too but I really can't find anywhere where it feels locked in. I watched a video of someone using it and I still don't understand how they are doing it haha. On paper it seems like it is a great idea but when you actually put it on the putter it doesn't lock anything.

I just got mine. My initial thoughts are that I really really like it. I installed it on my PT-82 which I use a pencil grip with a forward press with. Goes great with that setup. I don't know if it'll be a viable option for a conventional grip. There definitely needs to be a forward press to feel the "bump" at the end of the grip.

IMO I think this grip would go great on a Spider slant neck or an Odyssey 7s.

The forward press thought is why I think the grip will be great for me. I forward press and get my hands well ahead of the ball. I think this grip will be a natural fit. Mine is stuck in usps "traveling to the next destination" status which means "we're not sure where it is but it's coming"...

At least for mine, it sat "In Transit" for a few days but then when USPS scanned it from Pontiac it went to Detroit, MI to my door in a day and a half so hopefully once yours kicks into gear it gets there quick.

Last time something was stuck in transit all I ended up getting was 1/3 of the box it was shipped in. Some cletus at usps likely took it.

Here it is!

Install was simple. I unfortunately agree that the wrist bulge is not significant enough without a considerable amount of loft and forward press.

One thing I noticed and was VERY surprised about was how good it felt in the pads of my left hand using a standard putting grip.

Might play around with that at the beginning of the year here and if that goes bust, it’s back to the Pingman.

So where you grip it makes it play the same effective length as your original grip? No change in shaft length is needed?

I didn’t add any length to it. It was my intent to just choke down a little to get the contour into my left wrist but with my putter I wasn’t able to accomplish that. However the contour fits right in the pads of my left hand which I found very comfortable when putting with the claw/pencil grip. Visual:

My 2 cents, don’t bother ordering this grip. I received mine a week ago and immediately realized that for this to work effectively I would have to alter my putters characteristics, both loft and lie. Recommend waiting for version 2, which I will bet comes with a much larger wrist pad.

Mine came in today. Like others have said, it feels awkward, there's not enough pad to touch the wrist.

Might just put it on sideways and use it like a pistol grip
