Here's a satin version of it with custom BLACK paint fill

I think this satin version with black paint fill makes the iron head look fantastic and more classy, so I just had to post it in here - what do you guys think ?

Only wished they were forged by Miura....then they would be in my bag now.
I'll stick to a custom Japan combo set of Mizuno Japan in brushed satin nickel and maybe a set of Miura Cb-202 for the Summer 2008 season

Still think these TM irons looks pretty sweet though........you can get them custom made in satin and black paintfill on tsg.com. Chris does the work on them. Swing weight should not be altered, because the finish only is blasted and not actually removed

They are nice but I still like my 2005 Rac TP better. I think they should have kept the TP logo in its original place. But then I guess they could not have brought out this iron if they did not make the change.

They look nice either way IMO, but as someone said previous, loose the lines, reminds me of LT II's, not good.

The weave in the ferrules is pretty cool looking too.

That is a huge upgrade over the Ronald McDonald color scheme. The black makes the iron look much classier and cleaner.

The ferrules are the stock ferrules on Epon clubs.

Will TM Japan still honor warranty if you "satinize" and reshaft (obvious because of ferrules).

Will Epon also sell ferrules only? I would love to have those on my TC770s.

I agree the black colur scheme is a distict improvement over the court jester theme.

I still think they look horrid though. Too much flash. The ferrules look hideous IMO, and I can't be the only one whe detests that hosel logo-ing that Taylor Made insist on doing? The 300s had the best idea with a little 'T' logo on the back. That whole hosel ensemble just looks cluttered to me.

Not really obvious. The first original finish has a standard ferrule. Looks like someone reshafted and used the different ferrules in the refinished iron.
