Help with reshafting Ping iblades

I’m looking for some insight on a reshafting project. I have never reshafted any Ping iblades and I just wanted to see if there is anything I should be looking for that is different with these irons.

I understand there is a special Ping ferrule but is there any other nuances I should be aware of? This will be a pretty straight reshafting of comparable steel shafts.
I have done a fair amount of reshafting so this is not my first rodeo but I’ve recently read about reshafting issues with other current Ping irons.

Any moment about to do a set myself.  Outside of the Ping collared ferrules and making sure that the shafts are fully seated into the interference portions within the bottoms of the hosels, should be just like any other set.

Those ferrules are a must.  At least with the S55 they were.... the heads are designed for them and the shafts will fit sloppy without them.

The interference fit at the bottom of the hosel adds complication.  When rebuilding a lot of guys don't get the shaft all the way to the bottom, not to mention it makes pulling the shafts and dry fitting the shafts for swingweighting more difficult.

So I can assume there are no tungsten weights in the hosel like the G410s & i500s?

I re-shafted my i200's (similar construction to iBlade) earlier this year.  There were no weights in the hosel. Your iBlades will be like mine in that the weight will be incorporated into the rubbery cavity piece.  I got the ferrules from Golfworks.  The catalog will list the proper ones but you can contact customer service for clarity as they make a couple different versions.  They were the perfect diameter so I didn't have to turn them down - install and forget.  Otherwise it was a typical disassemble/reassemble process.

I was told in the past and verified with experience that you almost have to hit the butt of the club on the floor to get the shaft the whole way into the head......Anyone else found this to be the case?

You can defiantly feel it when the shaft is seated all the way in place.
