I was fitted for and ordered my G425 irons on December 2nd. Just got a call from my fitter saying they've arrived today, February 3rd. So, 63 days or 9 weeks. The promise time for delivery was "February" so the fact we have them in hand on Feb 3rd is pretty great, I was fully anticipating these actually arriving in March. 

 

I ordered 4i-PW blue dot, True Temper Dynamic Gold 105 S300 +1", and Arccos/Golf Pride Lite 360 Tour Velvet in Gold size w/4 wraps underneath. 

I mentioned before the Glide 3.0 wedges I ordered at the same time arrived in about two weeks. 

 

Pretty excited, no excuses now. The jump from i3 to G425 will cure all swing faults, right? 😉

Ordered a 5 wood with Ventus Red on 1/29 and just got a Fedex label showing up in my app today estimating deliver for tomorrow. That's pretty dang fast for a custom order. I was expecting to wait a couple months.

I ordered a set of the 425 irons with Modus 105 stiff shafts the first week of November. Finally got them this week.

I ordered G425s in black dot with PX LZ 5.5 shafts on October 10. Initially I was told December, then January, then February, now March. I just reached out to my fitter (they’re tired of me bugging them) and they said the Arccos grips are holding orders up right now. I actually requested to have those removed and replaced with standard grips (already have Arccos). I’m still tracking for March but maybe look into what grips you’ve got if you’re still waiting.

Not sure why I'm so surprised but these G425s are much, much bigger than my i3s: 

 

 

We're having a warm spell this weekend so I'll get to get two rounds in with them this weekend, in addition to my indoor leagues. I was thinking about adding a 5-hybrid to the bag this year but I'm not sure it'll be necessary with these heads. 😆

 

They look great at address but pretty imposing when you flip them over. I never noticed in the store.

I just ordered G425 LST driver, 5w-7w-9w max and 4H for my PUD. All custom - digitally lofted, specific face angles & shaft tipping, length and name etching.

I was quoted 3 weeks for the driver and 8 weeks for the rest. And the Hoofer Monsoon is completely out of stock with no idea of when it'll be restocked. 

I'll keep you guys informed. Thank goodness I don't need them anytime soon up here in Montreal - they will mainly serve as "back-ups" 😂

BTW I am in no way bashing on Ping - they are SUPER awesome to deal with on a daily basis for anything and everything. Covid sucks!
