Friend has been fitted for driver, 5 wood, a hybrid and 4-gw. Delivery dates moving back by the day. And he is standard length and black spot so irons should be a doddle.

thats great to hear, my iron specs are 1' longer blue dot standard loft, with graphite shafts, looks like light is shining through the hole 😀

I'm kinda glad the G425s were backordered.  Otherwise I wouldn't have even tried my current irons which are superior.  I ordered 425s twice and cancelled both times due to delays.

I got fitted for a 425 Max in October of last year and got the club within 2 weeks with the Aldila Synergy Blue.  Hopefully your friend has the same experience.

ok, so I call it my “low cost” practice build and in reality it is, comparatively.  I bought these parts one or two at a time until I had a setup I was happy with. Fortunately I have a one car attached garage which I used for my motorcycle, but now without one I put it to better use than storage. The area is insulated but without permanent heating but a space heater works fine down into the 20”s C. The flooring is just old carpet or discarded rugs  accumulated over time with one inch foam squares under the net area to absorb ball rebound. I can chip, easy wedge through rescue/hybrid but mainly a 7 iron is a perfect club. It all just works!

Hey everyone, 

I ordered the Ping G425 Irons (5-PW) on November 18th, 2021. I went with the 3 degree upright (white), standard length and the standard arccose grips. When I ordered, they estimated they should ship at the end of February 2022. Of course I haven't had any update since then but I was wondering if you recommend I change my order to different grips because they could be a major part of the delay? Thanks!

Checked on my Nov order today - they said March.  Right now they’re working through September orders - seems heads are the major hold up.

Seems strange it would take so long on one fairway club. I know the main issue for sets was iron “heads” but a bit of that has improved,,,,,somewhat.

Hi, my custom set due 22nd Feb, 1' longer blue dot, they seem to be catching up with backorders ,

I have a similar irons order in with them. Blue Dot, +1". I'm in the TT DG 105 shaft. My order was placed around December 2nd and was promised February. Would be happy to have them on time or early March. I received my wedges in less than two weeks from when I ordered everything.

Sorry for the late response. Yes, it is free standing. I did drape a cheap Harbor Freight mesh tarp behind the net on the garage door tracks as additional protection which helps with the velocity from longer irons/hybirds.
