There are many out there and they should have their own channel. It would be be more objective to go by their tournament/competition results rather than their channel matches.

 

I wouldn't necessarily count Wesley Bryan because it seems like it is more George Bryan's channel.

 

I reckon it might be Luke Kwon.

sidenote: I personally cringe watching GM golf or Rick Shiels. Rick has some good content but I stay away from his club reviews cause I find them to be a joke. His steep downswing with pull hooks brings back some bad memories for me haha. 

Agree 100%. As far as GM goes, also not sure how I feel about their proclaimed "numbers", meaning Micah hitting 370 yard drives and Garrett hitting 330+, etc. 

 

Not gonna sit here and say it isn't true, but I'm not gonna say it is either. 

 

Regardless, all of them have built up awesome followings and content. 

 

I watched GM more back in the day, but that Matt Scharf (whatever his name is) gets on my last nerve.

Seems like a few Korean LPGA Tour players have their own channels.

 

Never knew that.

 

In terms of my definition of YouTube Golfer it would be like people such as Shiels, Crossfield, TXG etc.

 

I guess anyone with a PGA Tour/European Tour card or Korn Ferry Tour/Challenge Tour card is out. So Luke Kwon should be out, even though I said he was the best.

Then a YouTube golfer is a golfer who does not have any tour status which rewards OWGR/Rolex World Ranking points and they have their own YouTube channel.

If we're talking people who play golf who happen to be on youtube, then either Wesley or Harrington since they're both tour guys. If we're talking people who play golf on youtube and that's it, then the clear winner here is Trent Daddy from Fore Play 😂😂

Ashley from Stacked Golf is the "World's Greatest Putter" so I'd say she should be in the conversation!

I’m late to the thread but oh well... I recently discovered several golf-related channels on YT. The ones that stand out are Erik Anders Lang (Random Golf club), Zac Radford, and FormulaGolf (Blaire McKeithen). While Erik is more of a “golf enthusiast” (like myself) and Zac is all player I appreciate their content, interviews, and production value (effort). Living in SoCal, I enjoyed watching Erik vlog about bucket list courses from around the world while also paying homage to some of my home/working persons muni-tracks like Roosevelt Golf Course (Griffith Park), Wilson/Harding Golf Courses (Griffith Park), and Santa Anita Golf Course (Arcadia, CA).  Zac Radford...well, dude seems like a real talent who enjoys sharing his passion for the game. I was ready to plan a golf vacay after watching one of his vlogs only to realize that the course was permanently closed down due to the Pandemic.  FormulaGolf is another channel I follow. Blaire McKeithen has been grinding to make a life as a touring professional for years and it’s hard to not be able to appreciate/respect the journaling of his hustle. 
 

EDIT: Golf Sidekick is another YT channel I watch. He’s got some good content and he peruses the forums here on WRX. How do I know?  He recently tackled a question asking if a male who’s a 4 index is able to beat a female pro. I commented about that being all the talk over here and he implied that he got the idea for the video from reading the WRX threads. 
 

There are other golf-related channels that I watch but not enough to shout out yet.

I’m a day late and a dollar short but Zac radford has beaten all of these you tubers (except shields) and he is probably a +5 handicap. He consistently shoots under par on some really tough courses and travels all over so it’s not like he just shoots low on his home course.

I agree with both of these posts. Pound for pound/straight up/shot for shot/no gimmicks or contingencies, I’m going with Zac all day. Golf Sidekick provides really solid perspective with regards to scoring as it relates to course management process (from different playing abilities). Additionally, they both seem genuinely passionate about the game. I watch a lot of other YT golf content and sometimes I feel like people are just vlogging their golf-related exploits for the likes to see if something hits.

I like how EAL’s channel shows him (5 - 10ish index) attempting to break 90 on championship courses under normal tourney conditions (tee boxes, pin positions, etc.).  While his handicap is lower than the average his content provides a dose of humility for many of us mere golf mortals.
