Thanks for the tip of the cap and Right on Nard. That song is pretty incredible as it has a one of kind sound. I love the pounding beats it contains best. I have been enjoying the music appreciation threads for a long time and when I get that exact reaction I find it  pretty cool. It doesn't happen often so it makes it more dear I think.

IMO, the 90's was the era of cheesy pop with pop bands battling for number 1 week in week out - spice girls, boyzone, Vengaboys, steps to name a few. 

 

Also with the current European Football (Soccer) Championships reaching its end in the next couple of weeks and of course the Fifa world cups had songs like Vindaloo, Three Lions and many other songs which are really cheesy but if you are a soccer fan or schoolkid in the UK or Europe or Worldwide then you know them 🙂

She does a fine cover of Barry White's gem. I hear her N.Y. roots when more than once she sings whhhalll or how ever New Yorker's pronounce "all" and that's kinda different.

Ok, speaking of stunning petite brunettes… This one is a little newer, but to me the lead singer of this band (Lauren Mayberry) gives off a bit of a Natalie vibe. Also a little Hope Sandoval from Mazzy Star 😍 So I wanted to share it. Hopefully you appreciate it (her) 😊
