Looking for whippy or driver shaft with more of a kick

I probably have these terms wrong -  as I don't really know this stuff very well. However, I am currently playing an Accra Tour Z RPP M5 shaft, that I love very much, but I simply dont seem to have the juice in the tank to really get after it as I am recovering from injury. Not only that, even when I do get the speed up, the shaft doesn't really kick at the ball, its more of an incredibly stable feeling shaft, where I have to make everything happen - not that this is a bad thing - I just don't have the bat speed right now. This is causing me to come out of it and lose my posture by trying to "overload" it.

So I am looking for something that has a little more kick or a snap feel at impact. Last season I played an AD-DI 6S at the start of the year for a while and definitely felt this kind of thing in that shaft (again I don't know what I am talking about and this could all be in my head). I switched to the Accra mid-summer bc I was hooking the AD-DI off the planet.

Anyway, having said all of that, are there any driver shafts out there that fit the bill - something more tip active or more kicky?

Thanks, and sorry if this all lunacy

I've typically found shafts with a softer mid section to give me that feel of more loading. I'm a big fan of the VA nemesys which is active with a real feel of loading and kicking but not loose. If you want something similar that isn't counter balanced the VA Vylyn I put in my 3w feels very similar in terms of activeness with out being loose or counter balanced.

Ventus blue velocore.  I wouldn’t call a Ventus blue whippy but it’s a soft profile to me.  Loads easier than the stiff mid designs and I’ve played the Accra for a season you are using, Ventus blue is much easier to swing.  Tensei 1k feels easy to load in my hands also, basically a Ventus blue with a higher kick point to me(in feel only I know the profiles are different.).  Also, swingweight can effect the way a shaft plays a great deal.   The Accra rpg is basically the stiffest handle they can make. Opposite is the tensei white shafts, they feel soft in the handle some people equate that to easy to load.  Another suggestion would be the tour ad shafts in a stiffer flex.

I know the Ventus Blue has a soft midsection which makes it kick more, but the tip is very stiff - I don’t think that would match what they’re looking for

well I think it is interesting feedback. When I say kick or whip I guess I shouldn't have said tip-active - its more of a feeling that the whole shaft is active.

The accra does not feel too tip stiff for me right now - its more of an overall boardiness that I feel - so it sounds like something a little softer in the handle or mid-section might the answer.

Sounds like you mean feel?  I've gamed the DI for many years.  Very boardy shaft.  I didn't realize it unti I took it out to the course/range and tested it against the Speeder TR 757.  Now that shaft was very smooth.  Shafts these days have a lot of feel most likely due to the newer exotic materials they use.  If you want something softer in the handle, then any of the recent white board profiles like the Diamana DF, ZF(modified DF/BF IMO), D+ Limited, CK pro white will fit the bill.
