How much right hand force in the golf swing

Right handed player here. Neutral grip. Common flight is a draw. I played my best golf many seasons ago with a lot of right hand force. I had callouses on my right hand from hitting so hard. 
Nowadays, I don’t think about it too much. Hogan said he’d like two right hands. 
There are people who profess in a right hand swing.

How much right hand is recommended in the golf swing. Thanks all.

Note I’m not subscribing to the right side swing as some have illustrated. My belief has always been that the left arm guides, while the right side/hand adds power.

I think it depends on what you re using the right "hand" for.  If you are one who applies pressure to the back of the grip in an effort to get the club head to move, any of that kind of force is too much  On the other hand is you use your right hand to swing the whole club that is not just fine, its optimal.

I'm 99% left hand for a righty swing.  The more the right hand gets involved the worse the swing gets.  I love that hard release when the left hand is in control.  The ball goes much higher for me and much longer and I keep my tempo in check.

There's more to hitting a golf ball long and straight than just speed, you need to apply mass to it too.

Still go with what I was taught many years ago.  For a right-handed player, the left side is the leading & controlling force in the downswing.

A decade ago, I was working with a pro that was big on proper hand loading. I was starting to get some results from the sessions.

 

Later that season, I had a fitting with another pro at a local golf shop. He straightened out my fairway woods and found me a hybrid I could hit. But, he questioned how handsy my swing was.

 

He switched me over to a more hip turn, quiet-hands swing which he said would improve my consistency. The first season I was playing a lot and it worked fairly well. But in the next couple play was spotty, and I went into a slump. This coincided with hip arthritis problems that made my turns inconsistent. And, the second pro exited the golf industry.

 

I've shortened my backswing to about three-quarters (easier to keep balance), and get some good shots this way. But, the hands remain a problem. I'm right-handed and due to past work activities I tend to overuse it. But I swing right-handed, so I need to get the arms balanced better.

 

I want the left side to be the rudder and control side, and the right hand a source of power - which it is when I work right side under properly. When I miss a shot, it's often tied to under rotation and pick up arms, or getting to the top and the right hand just completely takes over. I think I'll go back to the first pro and see if he can get my hands balanced (?) better coordinated (?), whatever...

I think he means spread your trail hand down the grip/shaft, hold it like a hockey stick.

I think some teachers may equate right hand force, to rolling the right hand over at impact. That requires a great deal of timing. It’s worked for a few players but not many.  I don’t think your rolling the right hand. 
Perhaps we shouldn’t call this right hand force, and call it right arm force. 
My swing is much shorter now because of age. I shortened the swing with the 9-3 drill. Wish I started that way because my swing was very long.

Is rolling right hand over different from rolling the forearms? One pro talked about rolling forearms open, and rolling closed on downswing. As you say, rolling hand "requires a great deal of timing."

 

I get good right hand action if I "work the right side under," as the golf tips say. If the left hand/arm doesn't lead from top, a heavy right hand can cause problems: a Jordan Spieth spin-out pull, or a downward chop an inch behind the ball. (The chop often moves dirt farther than the ball!)

Side note: It's been a wild spring here for area teaching pros, and we have a lot of decent ones. Two retired and moved away, two are nearing retirement and not taking new students, one became a college coach, another is playing mini-tour, one is a superbly successful shop owner, teaching pro and club fitter and it out of space on his calendar...

 

That first pro from "a decade ago" says he has time for lessons now that his high school team is on summer vacation.
