Crazy TV schedule. Check your recording schedule to ensure it's picking up the coverage on CNBC.

Weather forecast looks great for the first two rounds, but a strong t-storm may interrupt play on Saturday.

Still bugs me that there are sponsor invites at a major, but six? Oy.

A few top ranked players are sitting out, but otherwise it's a very strong field.

Danielle Kang, Yuka Saso, Nasa Hataoka and Lexi Thompson; they aren't big factors.

However, it feels like a small tournament in a faraway place.  The tournament has no buzz or energy compared to Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational.

Some of the panoramas from this course look to be quite stunning. In fact, pretty sure it's on my bucket list somewhere to get there. Closest so far has been Lyon. Better hurry up as the sands of time are running thin.🧓

Lyon is lovely, and the Michelin 3 star restaurants are out of this world.

Compared to Lyon, the sticker shocks in Switzerland and around the borders are outlandish.

Furry Creek only 40 minutes from me is also very picturesque.

A mountain side course with water views too...but many don't like it because it's too gimmicky,

The fight scene with Bob Barker with Happy Gilmore was filmed there.

So, Lexi's giving the old goat track a miss this year?!

I'd be interested to know the reasons these players have for skipping it. It would have to be the scheduling and travel, because $4.5m is not to be sneezed at.

Lexi missed the cut in 2019 and 2018. She had a 48T and 22T the previous two years. I think she simply doesn't like the course.

I think some of the torrential rain in Europe also spilled over to Evian a bit???...if yes...this mountainside course will play quite wet.

Not the 1st time they've had weather issues.

They really need to build a retractable dome over the course. Lol.

Lexi has zero chance of winning (see other comments below).  She's lost before she event tee'd off on Thurs.  I'm not surprised Stacey Lewis is skipping it but who cares.  Not sure on Kang.

CNBC? no wonder dow drops 700 today...  rebelling on this coverage... Nasdaq not so much, but, it's been a bull mkt ever since Mar of last year anyway... 😛

She does has two runner ups here, one as a 15yr old back in 2010 and a 3rd place. If she doesn't like it, she can surely play it fairly well. As you point out, not so much in recent years though. I'm guessing it has something to do with her comments about the course conditions she made in 2019, she may be embarrassed to go back. She did just play in London two weeks ago, flew back to Michigan...so maybe travel as well.

I think there's only one 3 star Michelin restaurant in Lyon.

I did a Google...I was surprised that The French Laundry in Napa had 3 stars.

Canada doesn't even have one 1 star establishment.

@Argonne69 also had a great fashion thread that got deleted....I think it had a millions views???

I think some members complained because it had too many skorts and knee highs.🤣

Arg also had a good thread with a glossary for nicknames...it also got deleted.
