Need Help: What Shafts for PING Eye2 (Pat. Pending)?

The ZZ-Lite shafts are fine in the 3-5, 7-9, PW, SW, but the 6 iron shaft needs replacement.  Should I just find a 6 iron ZZ-Lite shaft to replace or swap them all out for something else?  This inquiring mind would love to know.  Thanks in advance...

If you're satisfied with how ZZ-Lites play, picking up a 6 iron would be the logical choice.  It's the common shaft in E2's.  With prudent shopping, should be able to find one economically.  Any dot color will work.

I can't speak for your swing, but the original PAT Pending Eye 2s for me responded WELL to S300s.    S200s as well.

Send it back to Ping. They will reshaft it with a zz shaft.

Have DG S300 installed. Ping ZZ Lite is too stiff a shaft for most players.

ZZ 65 was the stiffest steel shaft according to Ping fitter at Gainsborough. ZZ lite are no stiffer than an S300 or 5.5 PX.

My Ping Eye 2 Pat Pending V-groove set (1983) came with NZ+ shafts, which are the precurser to ZZ Lite.   I don't know if they are stiffer or not, but they feel great and hit it high and long.
