My father was a mechanical engineer at GM for 27 years. Dad fast tracked up the ranks at General Motors. He made it to the position of VP of Research Laboratories. His office was at the Tech Center in Warren, Michigan. Mr. P. received a rather nice executive perk in that he got to order a new Cadillac every October to use for one year. He would just turn it in at the end of the term and order another one. I remember as a little kid how happy I was that very often he selected an Eldorado. Eldo's were my favorite Cadillac. The front wheel drive was better in the snow he would tell his little blonde son and that is why he frequently ordered one. We had some like these. I still find these cars good looking today.

It's all about Pebble this week on Tour and also on our thread. P3P went there last weekend and shared some moments from his trip and also fabulous photos. I just got off the phone with Chef Parker who is there with P. Cantlay this week. Chef goes all over the country with his Tour clients and has seen many a beautiful location, but it is the Monterrey Peninsula that he calls his favorite PGA Tour stop. He walked a practice round today with Cantlay, Spieth, and A. Baddley. Chef said the weather was unbelievably nice. Parker also said his wife was going through some old photos from our Vegas days together and dug this one up. Oh my was I shocked to receive that last photo. Parker and I hosted a dinner one Saturday night for Rusty Wallace and his crew. This was 1998.

I don’t. Just the standard blue on white touch.

I think the fan experience is no longer considered anymore. 
The Super Bowl seems to be all about status. Not really a true football experience.  I don’t really care about the game as much as I once did. 
That said I will root for the dog but be happy for McVay and some of the guys on the Rams like Stafford, Aaron Donald, and Cooper Kupp.  They deserve to relish any victory in the ultimate game. 
Cinncinnati winning will be a upset and I also like that v
