There're much less bogeys and more birdies for the early starters; it looks like a shootout for the leaders.

Can imagine Hannah having a low round today, too far back to win, though. Just birdied the first.

Hannah was only 7 shots behind the leaders starting the final round.  She could repeat Minjee's heroic at the Amundi Evian Championship.

She's +8 and #65 for the tournament; she will earn a precious one Rolex Ranking point.

Another couple of players to watch: Matilda and Leona.

 

Solheim cup spots a motivator. Matilda will have to go really low like you've said re Hannah. Leona we know can go really low and at -5 she may be close enough to the leaders if her putter gets really hot.

 

Whilst I'm disappointed with such mild weather over this event, this round should be excellent viewing, so many players in this.

Agreed, Matilda and Leona can still win!

 

This will be the best suspense movie in town!   We won't know who the winner is until the last putt drops.

Even with the mild weather, the course is still putting up some level of defense. The 2019 through 2016 Opens had winning scores of -18, -17, -18, and -16. Last year's winning score of -7 was a bit of an anomaly, being the only single digit winning score since 2014.

Don't understand how one can leave a birdie putt short on those greens. You don't really have to worry about it racing 6 ft past the cup.

Just heard the announcer state  that Castren won an LPGA tournament in the NW US. Never heard of San Francisco considered  as being in the NW US. But it can get cold there in July.

Yes, just dumb.

 

Like trying to lay up before the right fairway bunker on your tee shot on #1 and yet running into it - why, why, why, just take a club that has no way of reaching the bunker, you only have a short iron in from way back anyway. Leona, I'm looking at you.

 

It usually has a -ve mental impact when you make a silly bogey on a relatively easy first hole.

Don't see Nelly taking this either... nor Sagstrom... Despite doing all these eliminations, there's still a handful that I don't know what they'll do LOL

Lol. She's wearing a short sleeve polo when everyone else is bundled up like they're ready to make the trek to the North Pole. 

 

Actually, Anna is wearing her usual workout t-shirt, and Lexi is wearing a skort and polo.

Not sure what you consider a decent final round, but she did shoot a 66 at the ANA on Sunday to grab a T3 finish.
