In the sim line no line signified a “small head” version so could mean the same in the sim2 line

I'd say he's a tad bit better than your willing to concede.....

He has a funky backswing, that is it. Nothing else about his swing is in any way "bad", and a funky backswing is only bad if it prevents you from getting to a good impact position, which his doesn't. Redefine what you consider "bad" based on criteria that matters.

He dragged the driver along the cart path in a tour event last year… I don’t have the clip unfortunately

Agree.  Impact position is what matters.  Doesn't matter how you get there.
