Modern equivalent to Project X Evenflow Black driver shaft?

I picked up several older driver shaft pulls and installed the adapter for my driver and tried them out.  The one I liked the "feel" of the best was the Project X Evenflow Black.  What would be a more modern version that I could obtain with my specific specs?

Yes, but most of the Evenflow Blacks are 75g, and I need 65g or lighter.  Plus I need a 5.5 and not 6.0, so hard to find and when I do, expensive.  Just wondering if any newer shafts would have the same or very similar profile.   The Evenflow Riptide Black reviews put it more in between the original Black and Blue, so not really the same.

The hzrdus smoke blue, smoke yellow, and original yellow shafts are counter-balanced. Haven’t hit the yellow but the blue has a nice softer feel compared to my hulk. Those are worth a try.

The original Black wasn't CB, only the new Riptide Blue is.  I have several Riptide CB's, good shaft, but really liked the feel of the original Black better.  However, it's a 75g shaft, so looking for lighter one or a newer version.

The Evenflow Black is a surprising close match to the Graphite Design AD-DI, which itself is a match to about 75+ other shafts in the mid launch/mid spin category. If want the most "modern" version of this type of shaft, the Ventus Velocore Blue 6s or 6r depending on the flex you want would be a good bet.

I would look at the Evenflow Riptide. Riptide is the next generation of Evenflow shafts. Should be familiar in terms of feel. Looks like there is a 50 grams option as well. Not sure how sensitive you are to grip size, both Evenflow Black and Riptide have an oversized butt diameter as well which will make the grip feel a little bigger.

Correction, the shaft I liked wasn't the Evenflow Black, but instead was the Hzrdus Black, my mistake.  I find it odd that most reviews say it lacks feel, but I liked it's feel better than any of the other shafts, and I don't have an aggressive tempe, moderate at best.

If you do a basic Google you can find brand new evenflow black for under $75. What more do you want?

Personally I much prefer Evenflow Black over Hzrdus Black or RDX Black. The Evenflows feels great and are an excellent value.

Yes they are and for some odd reason I hear Pearl Jam (n my head) every time I handle one...

I use the evenflow black 75 in my 3 wood and it’s a great shaft. Stable, smooth, great mid flight. Much prefer it to the HZRDUS black

Makes sense since the only thing the Evenflow Black has in common with those other shafts is the word "Black" and the same company making them. Otherwise completely different shafts.

Which Diamana, if any, would the EF Black be most similar to?

Not Diamana, but the Tensei Pro Blue would the closest Mitsubishi shaft. Any of the Blue Diamana shafts would be similar. The original Evenflow Black/Blue/Red are all smooth, mid soft shaft designs with the Black simply being the stiffest version of that.
