Yea, he’s been playing through it since January. It’s suppose to heal on its own but the problem is he can’t take any weeks off for a duration to allow it to heal

I know I’m the only one watching the PR Open but he’s about to get special temporary membership with a solo 2nd. Hired Lexi’s old caddie last week. He’s now going to get unlimited sponsor exemptions on the PGA tour

Gerard was also 1 shot away from the same membership that Akshay got but he’ll get more exemptions based on his play

Akshay and I have the same teacher, and he's not only a great player (hit all 18 greens at Pebble in the pro-am a couple years ago, something only a couple guys have ever done in the tourney) he's a great guy, couldn't be nicer always has a smile and a kind word for everyone. He represents the game with real class and style. It's cool when good things happen to good guys.

 

His teacher Chase Duncan is also fantastic. Solidly booked for lessons though, but if you can get one, you really should, Chase is amazing.

I said it’s great that he just won but I’m also saying he has struggled a ton since turning pro. I also pointed out how great his amateur record was vs his pro record.

 

Let’s see how he does the next 2 years is all I’m saying. The past two have not been great up to this current win besides the contract with Callaway.
