Awesome.  Would you be willing to ask them how they accommodate over length builds?  I believe they have heads on the heavier end of the spectrum so curious to know if they have ways to remove weight. 
 

I’m 1 inch modern standard with x100s and a standard grip.

Bring your own. I sent in ferrules I wanted for irons and new wedges

on advice form here I juts asked Artisan and they had the BBF or whatever they are called ferrules. on my teaser pic they look great.

Oh yeah! I know Patrick who runs BB&F Co ferrules, so I just bring whatever he gives to me. First set I did choose from Artisan, and subsequent clubs has been my own.

Had a great time up in Ft. Worth on my return trip to order some irons yesterday. Everyone at that company is so nice and are really there for you the player. Talking BBQ with MT for a while was just a blast. 

 

The Japanese release is basically the first iteration of their irons with the finish favored overseas. The version offered here in the U.S. is mostly identical and you're not going to see any performance differences between the two sets. MT mentioned he has spent more time/effort designing these irons then he ever did working on any product over his career. They really don't build to swing weight, more total weight building, so if you're +/- on your shafts, getting fit by them is key. Jay is really good fitter and I ended with a FC/HC combo and switching shafts. Should have them within 3 weeks.

They are booked pretty far in advance.

Artisan is a very small, very popular shop.  One fitter for wedges and irons.  One fitter for putters.  You might call them to see if they can fit you in.  When I did my wedge and putter fittings back in 21 I had to book out 6 weeks for a wedge fitting and 8 weeks for putter fitting.  I haven't looked at their current calendar, but I'm sure they are booked out for at least a few weeks.

Just go to the website, just updated, you can schedule irons, wedges and putter fittings online as well as see what days are available.

I just clicked next available and it is January 2 2024, that is a national holiday here in Scotland. I am glad they are doing so well.

When I did my wedges in 2020 Artisan matched the +1 from my prior wedges, same for my irons in 2023.

 

As it was noted by others, Artisan runs heavier and to a total weight rather than a swing weight.

-Believe interviews MT has done he notes a philosophy of maximizing the work the shaft does with your swing

 

For reference my +1 set measured on a kitchen scale (all I have) show a 0.2oz progression:

Cavity back: 4=416.7g (14.7oz) 5=422.4g (14.9oz) 6=428.0g (15.1oz) 7=433.7g (15.3oz) 8=439.4g (15.5oz)

Muscle back: 9=445.0g (15.7oz) PW=450.7g (15.9oz)

my mp 32 8 iron is x100 with standard tour velvet cord at 1 inch over and weighs 449 and that’s with the light heads.

Yup, all full cavity's.  I did not see the reason to make the game any harder than what it is, lol.

They look great. The cavity does not look super deep, just enough to move some weight to the perimeter. Beautiful shape.

My MB w PX LZ 6.0 are hefty (LZ are 6gm heavier than your modus). My 5iron total wt is 424gm D4 (standard length, Lamkin Genesis Std grip. 

I’m curious, what are your swingweights?

Hmmm. Interesting I will weigh my Project X 7.0 MB at half an inch longer when I get them.

 

My Blueprints are currently very heavy compared to my dads Project X 6.0 Mizunos(can't think the model but the forged bigger headed ones) and Artisan loved the weight of them.

They have been sitting at my friend's house in Houston for weeks now. He flies back to Scotland, 13 December so anytime between then and Christmas. We are suppose to play at Gullane and he might come up here to play Royal Aberdeen. Below freezing all day today so mind is off golf right now.

A few post ago I noted the weights of my artisans.

No idea my swing weights, honestly, I’ve just played what is fit for me. This goes for my prior 2013 Callaway x forged w/ shimada shafts

I got FC/HC combo (6-PW) a week ago and have a couple practice sessions under my belt. I couldn't be happier with the fitting results. Like their wedges earlier, they're just great feeling and performing clubs. Worth every penny IMO.
