Shesh, I didn't even bother trying to watch this.  I looked and I saw PH at like -12 and Stricker at -5 or something like that at one point maybe early Sunday?   lol.   Now, I see Stricker lost by one stroke??

Strick played last 11 in 6 under Par. On the front 9 it was clear he was the only one in the second tier that had the game to go super low and put the pressure on. Paddy made a long a** birdie putt similar to one of the majors he won after Strick tied him.

If you cand stand to watch this is what he is doing building up to his max SS with each practice swing. I think I counted 5 one time. What he is doing is gradually building up to hit loosing his muscles etc to avoid injury. And yes I can relate he has always been methodical and deliberate swing wise and is pretty much dialed in on his equipment too. I can agree about your Weekend Warrior because I would say 99% of the time they do not know what they are doiing. In fact if some were watching look for more Weekend Warriors to be doing it this week at your local muni then after a week or 2 you will have another fad. Paddy knows what he is doing. But I can respect your thought slow play does tend to get on nerves

Yep for me now half swing and mine is probably slower than most of the LPGA players now. But that is the only way I can play now without pain and injury

Age wise I am older than most of the Sr Tour guys except Bernhard Langer and Jay Haas. Langer is one month older than I am and Jay is like 2 years older

Yeah, it is more my problem than Harrington's!   He seems like a generally great guy and what he is doing is pretty cool in terms of being the Senior Tour Bryson D.

 

More fascinating is how the game really brings out the deep seated quirks in each of us, some more than others.

Ah dont sweat it everyone has their deep seated quirks no one is perfect. Yeah I am pretty impressed with Paddy just hope he does not hurt himself. And yes I can 100% agree with the weekend warrior doing it not knowing what side the bread is buttered on. Me I am pretty laid back on here in general but then there are a couple that delight in pushing my buttons. But as Barney Fife said I nipped it in the bud I put them on ignore

Recently I have found that Ignore function to greatly increase my enjoyment of this wonderful place.
