Driver for 6 year old

My 6 year old is starting tournament golf. He’s played in some pga junior league stuff but we are about to start on a couple local fall tours. I watched some videos on what to expect and noticed about every kid is swinging a taylormade, callaway, cobra or some other big name driver. 
 

I’ve read some stuff here and it seems like some people recommend the big names over the US kids clubs (which he has now). Some say say stick with the us kids clubs. In my research it seems like a lightweight head and maybe a Flynn or similar shaft might give him a few more yards. 

What shaft/head is everyone recommending these days? Threads from a few years ago made it seem like the cobra or Callaway xr were popular choices.

100% agree here. US Kids Clubs are perfectly fine for that age and for several more years imo.

US kids or Flynn golf drivers are perfect.

Take him into a Club Champion or PGA Super Store for a fitting and see what they say.

no no no no no no... they won't have shafts the correct length or weight for a six year old and you'll likely need a driver with 12+ degrees of loft. Wait until his swing speed is up over 80 mph before going for a fitting.  FFS, DON'T GET INVOLVED IN AN ARMS RACE!  Just go to uskids and get him a set for his height.

US Kids or Flynn.  Your child is 6 years old.  They are built for 6 year olds.

USKG.  Nothing else needed.

USKG.  Believe it or not, the USKG Lightweight Series Drivers generates better ball speed than the Tour Series Drivers.

Uskids lightweight are best for 99% of kids. It’s only the elites that benefit from OEM heads ( callaway rogue is same weight as uskids heads btw). Stay away from Flynn shafts unless they swing the club 70+ mph. TS3 are also on the heavy side.

They will say he needs a 1300 buck driver .
