Seller broke a contract to buy. Sold item without first giving notice of intent to void contract and sold item to another buyer

Lol, basics of contract law.  Good luck showing damages.... nothing compensatory for sure but I'm sure that @Oneput can claim punitive damages based on his poor putting performance having not received, agreed upon putter.

As a seller, we cant sit around waiting for the buyer to send payment. Ive had instances where buyers say they will buy it, I remove the AD and next thing you know they change their mind and say they dont want it anymore. There is no stipulation about the seller holding the item for 7 hours while you figure things out. Once purchased, Im asking for payment or the buyer has already sent payment.. He has a point in terms of you taking too long to send payment. So I have to side with the seller on this topic.

I explained to Seller that we have a contract and Seller has the obligation to inform/alert Buyer about voiding our contract.

'I waited 7 hours and you never paid…. It’s not sold till you pay.

 

please go ahead and ask the rest of GolfWRX. I’ve been selling here for over 10 years.

Since Seller has been selling for over 10 years, Seller should be reminded by GolfWRX moderators about the etiquettes of buying and seller and basic Contract Law.

Seems like @Oneput responds to his own thread about as quickly as he sends payment 🤣.  9 hours after starting this thread, after multiple other members have tagged him in their comments, no response……

 

@dmonaco19 you have absolutely nothing to feel guilty about.  If someone can’t send payment within a few minutes of agreement on a price, too bad for them.
